They're basically the same, expect a few differences in some! so camera wouldn't change my decision!

It was good in its time, now its outdated. The same will be for the two phones in comparison here and any other. The market is moving fast.
The frames in Scene #5 are so different....
In a dark scene, it makes a lot of difference.
AnonD-447116, 15 Oct 2015Sure, its outdated big time. Don't get me wrong it's a great little pocket going camera and if it was attached to a more modern device it'd be a stellar phone but it's just irrelevant now and I'm sick of hearing about it in phone camera discussions especially when the comparisons are 2 completely different brands as someone below pointed out. The S6 and 6s are also WAY thinner than that 14mm thick brick. Of course it's easier to put a good sensor inside a phone with that much depth hence why it is irrelevant in this and every other article. It's like comparing the Saturn V and Space Shuttle main engines "One's older but made it to the Moon whereas the Shuttle's can't!"
To all those commenting about the 808 or 1020 or V10 (or any other phone for that matter) being better than either of these I ask the following question:
What bloody relevance is it!!!!!!!!!!
This is a comparison between the iPhone 6S Plus and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ only. i.e. no other device is a part of the article.
if you want to drone on about your precious device being better then either of these, then go find a iPhone 6S Plus vs (insert your device here) or Galaxy S6 Edge+ vs (insert device here) article!
Anonymous, 15 Oct 2015a=iphone6s b=samsung s6 edgge the winner is B but the best is LG V10You are just an ignorant man. Can't see that A is the edge+? Don't you know abt the Aperture... It's obvious A is the best and that is the edge+
A is iphone
b is samsung
Iphone turns yellowish into white! also in 6splus? So whats new in 6splus?. Samsung sometimes do Only in indoor low light. But samsung is the best right one. Outdoor to indoor and lowlight. Havent tried v10 yet. I compared mine with iphone 6s vs. Note 5.
Must say wide angle is good..
Anonymous, 15 Oct 2015Yeah but as a phone it kinda sucks now.Sure, its outdated big time.

I just can't bare your ignorance any more !
Nokia 808 PV is not Lumia actually,
and it definitely doesn't produce crappy images!
First you called me Troller and then this!
Looks like I just discovered I am talking to a Beginner or a kid.
Please see 1st What is Nokia 808 PureView and the pictures it can produce then talk.
AnonD-447116, 15 Oct 2015The 808 still dominates the grey chart by far, it just does. Yeah but as a phone it kinda sucks now.
AnonD-447116, 15 Oct 2015The 808 still dominates the grey chart by far, it just does. A Pure Camera, can give the purest result.
iPhone tuned the camera, thus result in lousy grey bar chart.
mir, 15 Oct 2015You're obviously not taking your S6's camera to its limits then. Do a more challenging subject... moreActually I don't do any of that. I loath it in fact. I take occasional scenic/nature shots with it and I can tell you even in low light levels my photos are 300x better than that potato quality image that was posted below. I don't really give a damn though I'm just sick of Lumia fanatics going on about their old crappy phones. If you had a 950XL I'd be interested but quite frankly I wouldn't take an 808 or 1020 if you paid me. I have a DSLR for actual photos, my S6 is only a back up if I don't have my camera on me because I take it everywhere because, unless you didn't get it, it's a phone. A phone that's more capable than an outdated Lumia.
Omar Mohamed, 14 Oct 2015Troll?! See it your self: http://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=2&idPhone1=7467&... moreMate I don't really care about your crappy Lumia. I just know that my shots are nowhere near as crappy as yours.
b=samsung s6 edgge
the winner is B
but the best is LG V10
AnonD-454414, 14 Oct 2015My choices ended up being inline with the majority of voters. So was mine. Like A,B, B,A kind a this ..
Where is the v10 .... according to YouTube reviewers its the best phone camera now
