Best android alternative for iphone. Even so, the back which is inspired by the HTC M7 looks way better than iphone's. Pity they left out of the box the boomsound.

Wow Look at those humongous bezels... it is excusable if it meant a bigger battery, but 2100mah? HTC completely fails at design.

Chris, 20 Oct 2015"We doubt any One S users are still holding out for an upgrade" ... I'm currently ... moreI'm still using HTC One S since it was first announced in 2012 till now. First Generation of One family with Beats Audio. Still OK with One S, but want to change. May be i will wait for new flagship in 2016, hope they will put OIS in next one. :)

Before anyone try to sound smart by saying Apple copied HTC, know HTC's CEO Cher Wang sent out a company wide email on 10/19/15 stating:

"there will be great excitement for HTC this week, because the company is going to launch an amazing new smartphone that will make HTC employees proud.

The new phone will "strike a balance between beauty, performance and simplicity," making it good enough to become an alternative to the iPhone"

The A9 looks like an iPhone for a reason.

jneg, 20 Oct 2015At $399 for the model with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage HTC has priced the One A9 quite realist... moreOnly in US, the pricing is reasonable (not cheap though). It would be overpriced in rest of the world, like all other HTC phones and will be DOA.

At $399 for the model with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage HTC has priced the One A9 quite realistically, positioning it nicely as a excellent looking mid-ranger.

                            Not a bad price!

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2015And reading on GSMArena conclusions, it mentioned how it's design look similar to an iPhone is... moreNo, Apple didn't copy anything. At least not the design. The only simmilarities between the M7 and i6 is the material and antenna lines. If you compared these phones side by side, they don't even look simmilar. The A9, on the other hand, is a mediocre iPhone clone.
