i have one m8 and it is the best android i have ever used, never lags never stops, never heats up. htc is only behind because they make stupid mistakes in design (bezel x 2)
ultrapixel camera etc. and what is the deal with that htc logo on the front increasing length by good 3-5mm. And now this one, not fair to increase the length of phone for only button that only does finger print. they should have their own mind , rather than following apple.
even huawei mate S has better looks (both front and back, not the sides)

I wonder how many of you guys actually prefer software keys rather than hardware keys?
May be GSMA should do a survey to find out the percentage of people who prefer software onscreen keys rather than the physical hardware keys or even capacitive keys
        1 - Onscreen software Keys
        2 - Physical hardware Keys
        3 - Capacitive Keys

LOL at the UK price, despite pounds being over 1.5x the value of a dollar it is still more expensive here.

But I wonder how much doze will affect endurance tests...

I placed my order. But I noticed there is no option to select 32/16GB while placing the order. There was a limited time order for $400, hopefully its a 3GB RAM

                    That's fast. How's the concert? :)

Anyway, no price is confirmed yet, so let's sit back and relax. :)

And GSMA, HTC never aspires to kill iPhone with this. It just gives, in their words, a "good alternative". :)

That finger print might confuse user . They might think it's the home button. Mainly for Samsung users who moves to this phone.

"We doubt any One S users are still holding out for an upgrade"
                            ...
I'm currently using an HTC One S, and i'm in no hurry. It seems that most manufacturers have their heads stuck who know where right now. There are two kinds of phones, none of which i find fitting: monstrous, pricey phablets and compact, subpar, cheap phones. How hard is it to make a reasonably sized and priced phone, with a 4k-enabled 64 bit processor with stereo front Speakers?

And reading on GSMArena conclusions, it mentioned how it's design look similar to an iPhone is again, laughable. It's another way round alright. Apple copied the design of HTC One m7 from 2013 for their iPhone 6/6 Plus/6S/6S Plus.

I actually know a software engineer who still uses this since it came out to Market
He says, still, it's one of the best droids he used.....
                                  I'm not sure how, though..............

Ditching their signature front facing BoomSound speakers is a huge mistake imo.
