AnonD-459031, 25 Oct 2015Well man, look at full size Xperia Z5 photo - http://cdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/reviews/15/iphon... moreI get how you rate pictures now, you actually think cause the images are closer on the S6 it means it's better detailed with less noise. From the pictures you sent now the z5 as expected is the better image, the field of view is far wider and is better detailed than the S6. Colours look awesome on both but the S6 looks like it's over saturated, but the detail level on the z5 image is superior.
Sony all the way boys and girls!

It is horrible: digital artifacts, noise, blur on the corners.
Then look at Galaxy S6 photos - http://cdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/reviews/15/iphone-6s-galaxy-s6-xperia-z5/reveal/camera/gsmarena_101.jpg
Awesome photo!!!
When voting, users looked only at crop. They took agressive sharpeness filter and digital artifacts for a high level of detail.
Rafe Firman, 24 Oct 2015All I care about is dim light photography, because this is common situation while takinng pics... moreIf low light photography is all you care bout then you should buy professional cameras i.e dslr's and top mirrorless. You shouldn't be talking about smartphones one bit. But i can bet you made that statement cause you have seen the s6 didn't match the competition in day light and some other scenarios. True Samsung troll, well done.

I guess you know much more than the professionals at dxomark as well. You are entitled to your opinion though no matter how irrelevant.
Conclusions: the average user don't know much about the photo. The photos C are horrible: too high contrast level and full of digital artifacts. Xperia Z5 extremely disappoints when you look at a native resolution. Photos A (Galaxy S6) are awesome.
7h39, 23 Oct 2015I don't think Sony Z5 is the best cameraphone.. yes, resolution and hardware is here, but soft... moreThey're going to release a major camera software update within 2 months. Sony's post processing is too aggressive. Their hardware is really good though.
I really like all three phones. But the Xperia Z5 wins here, a lot of detail in their pictures and the SteadyShot video stabilization works surprisingly well. The images on the iPhone are more natural than on the GS6. Is it just me or are the colors on the Galaxy S6 over saturated? Thinking about switching from my iPhone 5s to the Xperia Z5.
AnonD-402280, 24 Oct 2015Those who say Z5 doesn't have OIS, they do, its called Steadyshot and its advanced and miles a... moreNo, Sony has NO OIS!
OIS is a physical, mechanical based system.
StadyShot, Sony's approach, is pure software based.
The way it works is, that they don't use the full actual space, but only the needed section of it, on the sensor for taking the picture.
This is especially true in video. Even for 4k you don't need 20+MP, right!?
So what they do is, they shift the image across the sensor, in order to compensate for the "shaking".
The bigger the sensor (in MP) the more room you have to work with. Obviously!?
That is ONE reason why they use a 20+MP sensor in the first place.
Those who say Z5 doesn't have OIS, they do, its called Steadyshot and its advanced and miles ahead of the competition and it works way better than OIS even dxomark admitted it Z5 has the best stabilization and way ahead of the competitors.
Base on expertise sony has the advantage when it comes to camera. Long before they hav this cybershot and latest dslr
Good job sony..
thats why buy Note 5 or S6 Edge +.
