if you want to make hotspot on your travels, then never pick sony. doesnt matter what model, but your wifi connection will be horrible, unless you are totally alone where you are making the hotspot.

Did you really leave out the Nexus because you thought it was too pricey outside of the US? You even say that it is cheaper than the Note 5, and according to many it is better, so that is a really bad reason.

Dude the LG G3 is powered by the sd 801 not 808! the G4 is.

P.S. and the G3 started with android 4.4.2 not 5.0

I would put the Xperia Z2 and the Mi4 instead G2/G3 in 200-300 range
