Well done LG. Its such a shame that the V10 is ruined with its battery life or it could be my next phone.
I have to admit that Lumia has the best shots in all circumstances. Thought that V10 will have the best shots but Lumia takes the crown.
In all photos I liked B and C, some details from each.
D was clearly the third and A was by far the worse.
Night shot I like C NOT A.
Seems I chose the correct phone for my taste.
I have a 950 XL.
I suggest, you make a Reference photo with good DSLR, and PLEASE mix photos in every question, so photo A will not always be from phone A.

For hoe much I k... moreu just answered ur own question Dude..More light means more resolved details etc....ofcource other things u mentioned matters too however the bigger apreture is the main part of the camera which gives it a edge over other camera features..even all the tech sites mentions its importance in there articals :)

AnonD-96745, 19 Jan 2016A - Oversharpening, got a bit of noise = LG V10 B - Natural colour, highest resolution &a... more:D :D
Yeey I will get the G5,hope will have this camera or a better one
If the G5 comes with a similar camera setup as the V10, it could very well make it a formidable competitor to the rest of the bunch. Kudos to LG for a very competent product and good luck on their G5!
LG has done a good job with the camera.

For hoe much I know aperture size is just the size of hole from which light passes it will help in night shots.
Resolving detail depends on lots of things like resolution, sensor size, and even post processing what I believe is LG does oversharpening here and there to look image good
Congratulations to LG V10. The pictures from it are very detailed and the noise is very well controlled while preserving detail. I am quite surprised by those pictures, they are comparable to older quality compact cameras with larger 1/1.7" sensors, like the Panasonic LX3.
The other phones don't even worth a mention. Very intrusive noise reduction and a lot of unnecessary picture sharpening. I'm not sure why people think that Lumia 950/XL should take good pictures. Microsoft is terminating the Lumia line and probably will exit the smartphone business soon. They launched the Lumia 950/XL just because they were still in the pipeline. Microsoft doesn't care about the Lumia cameras anymore. The Lumia 1020 is a long gone, one-off experiment.
Gsmarena plz provide a Dslr shot to compare with. Post processing algorithms of Mobiles nowadays make pics look good to eyes rather than keeping it original looking. Samsung was known for over sharpening artifacts but recently they reduced it while LG has gamed up in oversharpening the images.
LG V10 has the biggest apreture i.e f/1.8 That is why Its has the best and overall detailed photos b it night time or day time but tends to oversharp the photos and gives noise here and there on the photos.
The 2nd best is the note5 which has a slightly small f/1.9 apreture...so the photos comes out with a little less detail than the v10 and a little soft but with lesser noise than v10
Rest of the other smartphones RIP.
But still the test sud be done in a exactly equal light conditions .GSMA plz snap the pics and record the videos at the same time with the all smartphones
Very disappointed of the lumia, was going to get it next week

But since when has LG ever been known for a quality camera? The V10 is vastly overestimated here.
I hope this used the newest firmware 15506 which improves camera quite a bit, including .63 os. The LG V10 is definitely a great device and great camera, but honestly the only person that can ever judge photos is the person who takes them. They need to see if it reproduces the picture to what the photographer sees with his/her own eyes. Although I do think that MS camera oversaturates the pictures with their algorithms as ProShot takes much better pictures in general. Ms still has a way to go with their camera algorithms.
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2016Not a chance for Sony when 950XL is in the scene. B = 950XLturns out, Lumia doesn't stand a chance
I believe such comparisons would be better served had the ubiquitous night shot been performed in a more standard manner.
