              A "REMOVABLE PHONE"!!!
              yes... yes it can be!
              instead of buying 1 J5
we can have 2 phone LOL

think about it, 7 hours screen on time, that means you can have 14 hours screen on time.
that will be enough juice for the day even if we travel.
              Hollaaaaaa!!!!

With non-removable battery, what happens if the phone needs to a power-cycle reset. This question suddenly came up after my 1-month old Samsung J5 suddenly got weird. The message notificaton sound playing every minute and it also vibrated, even after both settings were turned off. Taking out and reinstalling the battery solved the problem apparently. It happens at random, and I have had to do this 3x already this month.
This makes me wonder if non-removable battery is wise choice for me now.

AnonD-352420, 01 Feb 2016You can use the phone 5 years until the 4100 capacity is down to 2500 standard capacitys ;) Battery usually dies instantly, over night.

Everayge pfone 4Kids, 30 Jan 2016Redmi 3 is just everayg phone, Meizu has much butter userbase, No glass protection, No gyro, I... morem1 metal is not bad, it has the performance, and screen,
but have to pay the price in battery.
m1metal battery is so awful for today standard,
tested under 54 nits, with only (61 endurance rating),
Compare to redmi 3 (107 endurance ), and that is tested with 200 nits.

                          So for me,
i would say that taxi driver is smart for making a better choice :D

Wow...this may be Xiaomi's best phone yet. Godly 107hrs of battery, and decently clean UI and a camera with PDAF...for only under 160. Best budget phone yet.

                                    non-removable battery ?
                                    it's a joke, right?

                                    imagine this,
your Xiaomi battery has aging and losing its optimal capacity and need to be replaced after months of use.
and knowing that Xiaomi after-sales service is virtually non-existent, you must replace the battery by yourself.
and since the battery is not removable, you need to tear down your phone., replace the battery, and put it back together.
I'm sure not many people could do that.

Amazing job Xiaomi! Redmi 3 is a great phone even dis-regarding the price. Entry level phones are becoming so good, and versatile, that there is no need for most people to buy flagship phones anymore!
