dev, 01 Feb 2016No wonder Samsung is losing market share.
Where I live this is as expensive as a Meizu Pro... moreYeah, other than the FACT that all those are cheap crap, no one gives a damn about where you live either!
Anyway, this is a midrange phone and it has DeltaE of 1.2, nothing to say, just nothing.
Even mij galaxy tab 3 7.0 can share video's over DLNA to my smart tv. It was 200 euros, how can Galaxy A 2016 series not support it?
dasman, 01 Feb 2016Good phone, but dissapointing chipset.Yup, for the price it should have had SD 650 at least.
To gsmarena- you say this phone is a good upgrade for people with an s5 or s4 and yet you don't include those phones in your benchmark comparisons? What is the logic behind that?
When is US release date?
Finally, what i was waiting for!!! Review in english for galaxy a5 2016, i hope you review galaxy a3 2016 asap too
ICE, 01 Feb 2016If you live in Australia, it is now exactly 4:46am 2nd February... ;)Haha but GSMA is not Australia based i guess, Moreover they corrected the post date to "1st Feb" ;-)
I thought it was released only with 1.6 octa, the snapdragon 615 isn't powerful. Also I expected more battery life. I think the one with 1.6 octa will be faster and more battary life, because is more optimized.
Good phone, but dissapointing chipset.
Once again there is no LED notification in the A series. What the hell.
AnonD-216564, 01 Feb 2016The date today is 1st of Feb, not the 2nd :PIf you live in Australia, it is now exactly 4:46am 2nd February... ;)
No wonder Samsung is losing market share.
Where I live this is as expensive as a Meizu Pro 5, Oneplus 2 16GB, Xiaomi Mi Note 64GB and much more expensive compared to Xiaomi Mi4c and Oneplus X.
after reading the review,
compare camera, battery, performance, and especially price.
i will choose xiaomi redmi 3 (The Precious Little One)
Wonderful display is good, but is it performance better than the predecesor.
it's pretty nice phone, looks exclusive. but SD 615, ram 2gb, makes me rethink with this phone? considering OPX as the alternate option.
The Snapdragon chipsets using the 20nm technology are power hogs and are not a good match for an efficient AMOLED screen, the overall efficiency is kind of ruined. You need a 14nm Exynos chipset for good battery life. I wouldn't buy anything other than Exynos or Snapdragon 820 if battery life would be a concern (which for me it really is). In 2016 most phones should have at least 100 hours rating to be worth the money.
yes 2016 is about battery life
last 3 review give us very nice endurance rating.
the exynos variant maybe give more juice
The date today is 1st of Feb, not the 2nd :P
Good phone
