The Exynos-variant is about 33% faster as it gets 40-45 000 in Antutu. That's better than S5 or Honor 6!

DarkMaster, 02 Feb 2016good point there....but only if you are willing to risk buying phone like ''Xiaomi'' Why is it a "risk"
Sammy A5, a midrange phone at that price? Lol
Anyway most of the features ain't useful in Africa, so no need streets myself, still have my Letv doing a great job and valiantly of 4k recording on a midrange fone of $200 is awesome and a 3gb of ram, plus 32gb rom, to he'll with Samsung
bring in the modular phones. so that yearly, you could upgrade specific modules like the processor, and not the whole phone.
Quite expensive eh..
but it should be fine if it have up to date SoC.
DarkMaster, 02 Feb 2016in my opinion M5 is awesome deal compared to A5 because of faster chipset, better camera, more s... moreHi, Have you tried m5 yet? Well, honestly, they have been too ambitious in putting up that phone. I had too replace mine 3 times but it seems all m5 has that defect of shutting down every 5 mins and resetting unless its plugged on a power outlet. A5 2016 makes more sense.
Perfect phone for me. Beautiful and this is the cheapest phone that support sammy pay, i am really interested to try that service. I hope sammy will introduce it soon in my country..
And i totally agree, its too pricey.
Samsung is dreaming....and dreaming ...
again and again....
sell this middle range at $480 USD...(total joke of the year)
Dno, 02 Feb 2016and you don't count the risk of buying a 400 euro phone with mid-low range chipset?
i'd rathe... morepls read my other post on this page also. and wasn't saying that this phone is worth buying on the contrary I think it sucks for it's price range you can buy and save some money flagships from the last year like G3,Z3 which are awesome phones compared to this junk...or add little more and get a beast like G4.
Gsmarena keeps complaining about 4k recording being absent in a midrange specced phone. Have you guys realised that you're reviewing a midrange device?

i'd rather lose $106, rather than waste $436 for an expensive junk like this phone.
Why didn't they just use the sd801 a la OP X? It's an excellent sub-flagship chip nowadays.
S615 is midrange at best. Ruins an overall good package. S615 uses clusters of 4 cores so basically it isn't really faster than a S410 cause it's not a "true" octa core. S617 in a9 is 30% faster and Samsung should use at least that one...(actually it should use 650). And the exynos with Mali t720 will be a joke too, performance wise.
