these kind of "phones" are made for Yeti not for humans. How can I put this "phone" in my jeans? :)

Yup. Only if it's not on huge footprint phone like iPhone6 Plus/6S Plus.
For Note though, 5.7" display size is way better size than 5.5" on Note 2.

Samsung should really re-define those "mid-range price" if they're not willing to lost it's market share to competitors

GSMA keep saying the A series is "on budget" but it clearly out of budget what with the competition.
I would go out on a limb and say that HTC (famous for not-so-friendly price in the past) One X9 at $387 (or $400) is a better value than this.
Shame that's yet to be released elsewhere outside China.

Can somebody tell me why do the A-series have better design than the flagships? It started with the first A series. I really want that design, but I want it with flagship specs. Why the curves on flagships, Samsung? They make any device look less high-end and feminine (just google basics on design).

in most regions the old a7 had the powerful 5430 octa which is considerably faster than s615. so pretty much a fail successor.

This is retailing for 500 USD in India, which is just below flagship territory. Using a Snapdragon 615 in a 500 USD phone is daylight robbery. You have 200$ phones that are running on the same oc. It's a poor strategy for Samsung, equipping their premium midrange phones with underwhelming hardware, especially with the gamut of superb value phones available in that range.
Samsung doesn't command enough of brand loyalty to fleece customers like this.
Either it should have been priced around $400, or it should have used something like a Snapdragon 652, 808 or even the Helio X10 to make it a better value proposition

them better back to plastic, the glass back is nuisance, really not comfort in hand
