Is the level of sharpening adjustable in the camera app ?
The oversharpening in all of the images is disgusting, though the images might be pretty great if no processing would have been applied.

Oh god.. so many haters here in the comment, why open this article if your just going to comment your hatred on Samsung.. some brings back the dead Nokia. . We'll see if the ugly looking LG G5 can top S7's camera..and that not so practical modules, for me its useless and will just add to my pocket and spend me more money...samsung very well done on the S7, haters gonna hate

Photos are outstanding.....!!! The sheer level of detail and sharpness are mind-blowing...!!! The night time low light shots are phenomenal...!!! No other smartphone manufacturer even comes close to Samsung's image quality... the only one that's close is LG (close not equal) ... and oh yes Microsoft's Lumia 950 XL ... Apple is useless... Apple only lives off the hype surrounding its brand name... The Xiaomi Mi 5 could end up being the dark horse in this battle... daytime image quality is excellent... need to see their night time / lowlight photos though...

no fm in s7 - FM reception is bad, prefer streaming.
no battery removable in s7 - Prefer wireless charging over removable battery
sam design - How is that a bad thing?
back camera mp has gone down to 12mp - With bigger sensor and lower aperture which is a good thing. Don't follow the mega-pixel blindly.

Some of the night shots have too blur and the details are lost, while some look pretty good for the low light conditions. The post-processing is not consistent to ensure image quality. Day light shots look fine with no edge softness but the details aren't there, oil painting tendencies still remain.
On their own these shots look good, but the full story will only come out when head to head comparisons are made.
