Why the author of this didn't put pictures in low light with flash on???
I think the g5 takes better pictures with the flash on.
LG g5 is the best phone your money can buy right now.
At least the most complete phone ,all around the best.

No comparison really. The S7 edge is much better in every aspect than the weak LG G5. Time to get rid of my obsolete S6.

I am not saying that octa will consume much more than quad. I am just saying that they are both on 14nm. Yes exynos is much more dense, I couldn't formulate it this way but I definitely agree. Basic physic tells that P=U*I where P is power measured in Watts, U is tension measured in Volts and I is the current measured in Ampers. I don't say that Exynos is more or less power hungry. My guess is that considering laws of physics and the increased core count exynos will probably draw 15-25% more power. It's a guess and not an absolute truth, feel free to contest my opinion. Can't wait to see the benchmarks ^^

SD and Exynos both run on 14nm. Try to think of 2 light bulbs: one is from 1940 and one from 2015. Which one will use less energy at the same brightness output? This would be the best example for 32 vs 14nm.

No mention of the fact that the G5 has a replaceable battery? This alone for me separates the two phones hugely. I use my phone too often in places where I can't charge it, and require a replaceable battery. This feature should be on the front page of the article in the "things we like" box.

Probably you should know what you are talking about before babbling. Anyone who knows anything about computing knows cores don't determine heat, it is always power consumption. However you seem to have convinced yourself it does. People like us just laugh at people like you who aren't interested in learning anything.
Something you could have said "Samsung's chip might be more dense seeing as it has more cores more dense so it would be harder to cool". But no your brain cant fathom that.
I am sure choosing between the G5 and S7 will be hard for everyone. Seeing as they are both great.

Yes AMD uses more because of much older arhitecture, we shall see this year what AMD will bring to the table. Please be informed about what you are talking about and bring convincing arguments, not like cola is better than Pepsi :)

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2016Intel's 12 core cpu uses less power than AMD 8 core -_-True, it does, but that is because Intel has been developing CPUs to be less and less hot for years. This is one of Samsung's first in-house chips, and Touchwiz is more power-consuming than LG's ROM, so it should be a power guzzler.
