The problem with the s6 was aggressive ram management that didn't let you have more than 6 apps open at a time. You don't usually need 6 apps open. Usually when you're using several apps you're only immediately switching between 2 or 3, or at most 4.

So it's a minor annoyance at best.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2016Touchwiz really never lagged anything like claimed. And multi tasking is where galaxies lead. ... moreSwitching apps is multitasking! If the app reloads when you switch then it was not truly running in the background or bad memory management. Owned several galaxies to say this, but tw really lags and lacks in multitasking department. Sorry to bring it to you fan boys, but didn't keep s6 edge because of bad memory management and lags. Instead got a g4 which felt way faster in real life usage (don't do hard gaming, only casual games), I sold because of battery. Now I own a mate 8 which is really a sweet device, insane battery and performance :)

I don't know what to say, exynos has 8 cores so it will generate more heat, they both are built on latest nanolitography. There will never be an absolute winner it's just a matter of choice. Bigger synthetic benchmarks doesn't mean c***, think of oneplus one for instance. Oneplus one has no 64bit magic , less cores, much lower benchmarks but overall performed better than s6. You are buying mostly dreams and numbers, they do the same thing :))))

hmmm, 28 Feb 2016So LG battery is smaller, does that mean LG battery life is really worse than that of samsung? Yes, because
                        1)g5 have a bigger screen
2)it uses lcd screen which is much more power hungry than AMOLED
3)Both phones have always on display, but AMOLED can lit up individual pixels of watch or notification, but g5 have to make all the display on to be "always on" type.
All this coupled with inferior battery and u have less battery life for confirmed.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2016But the G5 doesnt really win in camera. Especially low light of course and focus. So battery, ... moreFor performance I would still give it to LG for now. Touchwiz is just famous for its lag and the multitasking isn't great on the s7.

But still there are still many reason to go for the s7 such as bigger battery, lesser thermal throttling due to the heat pipes, better display, nicer design, water/dust proof, faster camera focus and better low light camera. Kind of stuck in a dilemma on what to get :/

In this case I'll go with the LG G5 because I dont like big phones, but if this was a G5 vs the regular galaxy S7, I'll choose the S7. its superior to the G5 in MY opinion.
