i can't believe Always On Display takes that much battery, about 1% per hour is insane.
even LG G5's only takes 0.8% per hour, and it's not an OLED display.

As a new user of S7 I can say battery life is just average. Very little bloatware.
Please you cant compare last years old Apple stuff to this beauty. Samsung has a HIT. They did it. I can imagine the Note 6 will be superb too.

gsmarena have you found a way to show the 360degrees video on mobiles? It's the only thing that I miss when browsing your site on android compared to pc.

many improvements done, but i will go with xperia z5 premium or xperia x performance. i donot need a qhd screen when 1080p is enough. both have ip68 rating too. 1080p screen will improve performance and battery life a lot. xperia has no camera hump which is more practical. a dedicated shutter button too. however, pricing will matter

Otherwise on snapdragon devices use Caf chromiumn browsers like rsbrowser/SWE browser.

ithehappy, 12 Mar 2016You know what's the biggest disadvantage for me of these new Samsung flagships? Ironically its... moreThey can mix actually. My Xperia Z3's been with me for more than 1 year. Never used a case, been dropped around 6 times on concrete and the glasses still holds up. Apart from a few hairline scratches on the alluminum sides and a very small dent on right lower corner, no problem, esp with both glasses.

why not mention Huawei Mate 8 in benchmark section?
It matches exynos 8890 on multi-core performance.

[deleted post]phonearena's testing methods are terrible..these are the same guys who said the iPhone 6s has better battery life than the S6 edge, G4 and Z5...I dont take their reviews seriously because they are very apple biased

Good review, but S7 Edge is far more beautiful piece of art than this S6/S7 :)

What browser does gsmarena staff use in these tests samsung or chrome? how's been lately chrome browser? (it is 1 year that i dropped android for WP). I'm really undecided between s7 edge and iphone 6s plus, only waiting to see how does general battery life and browsing (chrome/samsung) perform to decide.... can anyone share his thoughts/experience on these matters? Sorry if i made some mistakes, i'm not english.

Samsung has really set the bar quite high for Android phones this year. Other may compete in power, or in battery life, maybe even on picture quality, or screen oomph, but very few, if any at all, will have the complete package with IP certification, microSD, wireless charging, amazing amoled screen and manageable size.

Also, fantastic review, gsmarena team!

Great battery for now, hopefully it improves even further.
Camera, I still prefer the S6 in day light thanks to higher resolution (I always prefer higher resolution. I got used to the Nikon 24MP DSLR that I had which took incredible pictures). I think the post processing in S6 is a bit more mature and more natural. But that could be because the S6 that the have is using the Sony sensor instead of Samsung's. Still, excellent shots. In manual, lower shutter speed, results will be even better in low light.

Touchwiz, starting Galaxy S6, is super nice looking and has so many nice features. Its apps are really nice to use also. Camera is super fast and awesome. I love my S6. S7 is probably better (except for no IR blaster :@ :@).
