what makes Apple better than Samsung phones is their software... which is much (still, IOS is so restrictive)! Last night I had a battle with Kies3, almost lost half of my contacts and found pictures all over google and Samsung clouds, while I had been pretty careful not to opt in for backing up anything there... My Note 3 will never update anymore beyond Lolli 5.0, and custom Marshmallow ROMs suck so bad! Although I am tempted to get an S7 Edge due to good camera and for being waterproof (hardware is where Apple really sucks besides its awesome drivers and performance optimization), I will not! I am sick of being limited by stuupid restrictions and getting obsolete quickly.
Let's see what Note 6 will offer, but it is super likely that me and Samsung will part forever...

AnonD-175606, 13 Mar 2016i owe a samsung s6 edge.............not again samsung .............wil wait n buy lg g5 ......... moreIf you want to buy LG for its so-called innovation, think again. LG G5 new modular battery is a gimmick. You do realized that once your battery start to expired it will swell. That is about two years of battery life. And once it swollen inside the phone, you can't pull out the modular battery as it pushes all the component inside the phone against its body. LG G5 is not waterproof either. The rear looks ugly with its bulging dual camera. It is forgivable if the quality of photo is great but sorry to say, it is not even close to last year top ranking model flagships. LG update support is worst than Samsung. What can you do with LG G5 that S7 cannot do?

Adiyel, 12 Mar 2016LG wasn't lying when they said they feel their always on is better than AMOLED. That endurance... moreyeah i didn't expect that, LG G5 is the first LCD smartphone that has an Always On Display,
and it's the first Android smartphone with modular design.
really LG should get more recognition.
take an example, 1% for 24 hours is huge, 24% drained only from AOD, and there is per hour standby drain, S7 would out of juice without we even use it!
if i'd even take an S7, i would think twice before turning it on.

AnonD-442781, 12 Mar 2016Only people who don't understand anything start citing antutu like that. For some silly reason... moreand WHEN will multicore app become common. vulkan also just like newborn baby. I don't know any popular app support it on android. even most desktop app only use 2-4 core at most and the one which support vulkan even much fewer. the first consumer level desktop quadcore was Core 2 Quad and it takes almost 8 year for app to make 4 core usage mainstream. that's also why AMD 8-core is weaker on MOST app than i5 4core counter part.
Single core performance > GPU performance > multicore performance.

Honestly I saw with my "simple mortal" eyes better pictures with the s6 than s7.. More detail and sharper images, maybe the 12mp is a better camera, faster, excellent autofocus, etc. But results show different

S7 has the best camera so far i've seen in the full review.
one thing i would like to correct is statement from the performance section,

"The Galaxy S7 kicks off with the best single-core result we've seen, on Android that is, and by a long stretch." (2170)

2 weeks ago you run xiaomi mi5 (prime) test which result the best android single core.

No IR blaster and no FM radio as a con?

FM radio is understandable, I use it to save my data, but I never use the IR blaster on my phone, doesn't make sense to me.

                                        (I have an LG G3)

S7 looks nice, but setting off the AOD is a must, it kills the battery too much for what it does, I would say buy a normal (smart)watch if you need to...
