This may not be a spec sheet winner but its one of the most stable & smooth phones I've used.
Additionally the theatermax feature is awesome
Using this phone for a month now and I must say it is one of the best phone around regarding its price
Camera, the front speaker which blew me away, user interface, finger print sensor almost everything is perfect.. And just got the marshmallow update which i wasnt expected that early.. Overall, best phone guys just go for it and you will not regret it
In my opinion best lenovo product was Z2 Pro for camera quality and battery life
Very good phone for the price range. It's quite good when they put the dolby atmos sound but the free earphones really su**s! its like you purchase a nokia 3310 with that earphones. LOL! But the specs of this phone is really good! Good Job Lenovo! I really hope the next version will get a better camera.
Another phone with black front regardless of the back colour. I like white phones or any colour other than black, but when I buy one I want it all the same colour, not black in front and the lighter colour only on the back. So many cheap phones cut corners like this.
Is there a phone with k4 note or k5 note specs but with Nfc as well?
Thanks for the review, I will say for that price its one of the best phones out there, if not the best at this moment, obviously from a company whom you can depend on, and you won't be homeless if something should happen to your phone, unlike many of the XYZ brands flooding the Indian market, darn shame...
For its price the camera samples indeed showed fantastic details, I am quite shocked actually, I will say this is one of the best camera samples I have seen from an entry level phone such as this, details wise I mean.
Also, this line made me both happy and sad, "Metal looks great, but polycarbonate is the more practical choice.", so you can write this line on the review of this phone, but not for the likes of S6, S7, Note 5 etc.? Why GSMA, WHY?
Anonymous, 18 Mar 2016always useless camera from LenovoI've' seen far worse from Lenovo, this is a much better improvement for them though nothing to write home about compared to others have been very good at it for a many years now.
Kindly update that the redmi note 3 has a hybrid sim slot which can use the microsd card instead of sim 2
Here's a serious advice...
If you're gonna buy a Chinese brand it's all well and fine if you stick to anything that runs on Snapdragon not Mediatek. Period. Kirin only when Huawei can prove some semblance of GPL compliance as far as their software and firmware approach currently when there's no evidence of that yet.
No disrespect to Mediatek I'm aware that they're doing really good at trying to push their SoC design envelope but right now their primary objectives are centered around mostly about gimmicky multi cores' addition and just locking in 1st their home turf China market and 2nd be the sole undercutting rival for Qualcomm at midrange and lower devices full stop. They don't care about code, they even blackmail smaller OEMs with their kernel sources and above all are more than comfortable to just churn out the next blockbuster of the week to avoid from providing long term support to partner OEMs let alone the user base.
Not quiet related to the review but please do battle of smartwatches
Apple watch vs gear s2 vs huawei watch
Anonymous, 18 Mar 2016...of course they don't let you swap the battery. Else you'd be tempted to keep the same phone... morei agree, im a fan of removable battery.
non renovable battery go for people who change their phone every one or two year, or not very active user.
if im a phone maker of course i tend to build phone with sealed battery. that is non question.
regarding k4 note, a good phone in 2015.
but xiaomi is the top budget phone in 2016
Well, if it's using a Mediatek chipset, it's probably never getting Marshmallow.
