Why is "No water proofing" a major disadvantage? The phone is modular and you expect LG to make it water proof or guarantee its water proof? Many consumers are able to use their phones for years without water damage.

Aspros, 27 Mar 201660hours?? OmG FAIL!! They never learn, people loved LG for the G2 small bezels and outstandin... morei am LG 2 user and very proud with it, in this year i want to change my phone. i have read many review for s7edge and pre review for g5. g5 have pros for wide angle camera, but s7 have the best photo quality. by my opinion, s7edge won in every aspect. beside that, i'm just a simple person who won't change battery every day. sorry LG, maybe another year.

but, yea it`s just like as i said, you can see s6 vs v10 review and there`s v10 wins not because of 4GB of ram but optimization of OS that normally keeps apps in background :)

AnonD-292864, 26 Mar 2016I don't like Apple products and i don't have Galaxy S7. DxOMark rated Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge ca... moreFirst - Dx scored S7 while G5 was not out yet, so let`s wait
Second - i already said that love Amoled screens but LG got one of best, it does not mean best...
Third - you seems to blind if you can`t see S6`s multitask problems on 5.1.1 and 6.0

btw i`m glad u`r not iZombie :)

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2016Talk about a bunch of losers on here arguing about phones. They're just phones people. You rea... moreYou mean "they're expensive phones."
When i pay as much for a "phone" as for a whole fricking computer then i want the best of the best. And a maeger 14fps onscreen performance just don't cut it.

As for your comment about removable batteries. Eventually you HAVE to replace it! So it's not about "some people need it". But you, rich bitches, can probably afford to throw away your expensive phone every year, huh.

mir, 27 Mar 2016Maybe they had trouble on focusing during 60fps. Might add it in a future update.Good point. Better to wait then to send it out buggy. Hopefully soon.
Regardless of what anyone says this is still pre production.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2016So Always On Display uses less power on the G5 than on the S7, funny. What I don't understa... moreActually since around the S5 or Note 4 due to samsung panel efficiency they have done comparable or better than most lcds in browsing.
At 5.7 inch QHD and higher brightness the Note 4 had a better browsing score than most phones even with 5 inch less bright 1080p displays.

It was up to 40% more efficient overall.

So Always On Display uses less power on the G5 than on the S7, funny.

What I don't understand is why since the G3 the battery life sucks in the browser, it's very good in video and calls but not in browsing, LG uses LCD panels and tose use on every other phone less power in the browser compared to AMOLED, EXCEPT on the LG G series, it is strange even AMOLED scores better vs browsing time on LG G series...
