It can not compare KING LG5 by S7 second hand. The winner is King LG5.

Can't wait for the HTC m10 to be put in,in comparison like this. That would be actually a nexus 6p with optical image stabilisation, and am wondering if that could be the second phone this season to put sammy to a shame.
My expectations are high, and this could be the closest fight (between flagships)since 2013
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2016In that other camera shootout between the S7 and G5, the S7 won nearly all tests. The S7 won a... moreMaybe because they used retail versions of the phone for this latest shootout. My wise guess is that they were using test/demo units from MWC during their previous shootout. Have a look at the publication dates of both camera shootouts
I get that not everyone fiddles with manual ISO settings, but shouldn't a fixed ISO setting with HDR on or off for same scenarios on both phones provide a better example of true capabilities vs everyday point and shoot condition?
... do many people take photos at night outdoors?
Had a look at my current phone gallery and most of my night shots are indoors (mainly pubs - maybe I'm an alcoholic!!)
LG clearly takes the better quality low light images in general.
Well done LG.
Too many impractical & missing features for me to consider getting it - but they deserve kudos in this department.
hvac, 06 Apr 2016samsung fanboys using tripod for excuses. lolAutofocus was a big thing for the s7, and its quite important for the average smartphone user.
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2016That's what they mean. Sonys processing sucks. Also they could use better lensesLet me repeat, read the review and update. It was positive, not negative.
Saying it sucks is absolutely false.
Any word if the G5 saw any improvements in image processing for this to happen? As far as I know it has the same camera as the G4 and V10, so this comparison may be more of a case for getting them at a discount than the G5.
What keeps surprising me is how bad the lens on the Samsung is. Blurry corners, fringe, chromatic aberration, coma, ghosting, all in one package! Unbelievable!
adi.mane1, 06 Apr 2016Bro Google some facts Like how Samsung has two variants one with Exynos and Snapdragon of S7... moreThat is correct. They did the same last year with the S6 and the phone with the Sony sensor was judged to be just a bit better.

Zeldir, 06 Apr 2016G5 has the best mobile camera so far. Just look at some image taken by both phones. Just deal ... moreThere is some better detail and contrast in some. But it is far from a better all around Camara

Most the phones use the sony sensor including the S7 and last years S6 (not sure about the G5) and if I recall correctly the review of the video and photos on the Z5 was the hardware was solid.
The main knock against the Z5 was the sortware had a few issues and Sony addressed that with an update to the software late last year.
