Appl... moreThe Sony phones aren't in need to be updated as much as the iPhones are in need to be updated all the time to try and keep up with the competition. Heck, even Android 4.x.x is good enough for most peoples today. That's how good Android have been the last years.
Why should instant updates for iOS be an advantage over Android when iOS is years behind Android in features and so on anyways?
Yeah, you get instant updates. Wooooohooooo. Like that would matter when you still are stuck several years behind everyone else in features and so on with iOS.

I updated it with 8.x release and the phone slowed down noticably. Ive read the conplaibts people have about the 4s with 9.3 so whats the use of updating to get the new features if rhe phone is slow?

You simply cant compare an iphone to the Androids. Apple supports its phone from 2011 (iphone 4s) with the latest OS. Sony cant even update phones from 2015 to the new version of Android.

Its over 5" for a start, which I would personally never use. you also cannot directly compare value between iOS and Android as the 2 OS have different value to different people. Its all relative. Lets compare Apple to Samsung and see what you can get for £350 RRP. Not sure there will be a Samsung handset as good value as the SE

Flagship chipset, great rear camera, premium design, look and feel. extremely polished and stable OS, half the price of most flagships.
