I have been using my Sony xperia z2 for the last 2 years and it has been a pleasure to use such an amazing phone, faultless for the whole 2 year contract. 2 weeks ago I was due an update so it made sense to get the Z5 considering the Z2 has been the best phone I've ever had. BUT this was a bad idea. While my Z5 has many great features and function I cannot ignore the fact that my Z5 overheats ridiculously fast (I'm talking 2 music videos on YouTube fast) and my Z5 is at the point where it feels like it will burst into flames at any second. Yes the camera is incredible and the sound is amazing and the screen is phenomenal but the overheating cannot be overlooked. I have contact EE today to return my phone and I am going to be moving to the LG g5 or the galaxy note 5 or the galaxy s7 as they seem to be a move in the right direction.

Instead of prefering old stuff like lg joy 512mb ram and tizen z1 Gsmarena should have xiaomi note 3, coolpad note- lite, etc this buying guide is senseless nowadays we get andrd 6.0 marshmelow in rs 4000 infocus bingo 10 and the prefer lg joy 4.2 or 4.4 and tizen os.

There' are huge innovations in Z5 which you can't find i... moreI'm happy that you defended the Xperia line. I'm never a Sony employee, but I am a very long time fan and user. I'm not sure I wanna comment on Z5, because it is not to my taste. Bear in mind that I'm not the type of person who buys a smartphone every year.
The M5 however, here in Indonesia it's finding a tough competition from other Mediatek equipped devices that are priced A LOT LOWER, making it seems overpriced. Also in my country it's only available in its shiny Gold colour, which I dislike. Bad marketing decisions, is all. Plus its massive 13MP front sensor is a turn down for me, because I simply don't do selfies that much.
The new Xperia X, according to GSMA it does great selfies thanks to its new Electronic Image Stabilization. To my delight, the X series now introduces a less observable front camera design, flat to the screen and looks smaller even though its sensor is the same size, 13MP.
I said all this with the fact that when the M5 arrived here, I am (and still) looking for a replacement for my Xperia SP bought back in 2014. To my amazement, that little phone is still works perfectly! It has suffered from many, many scratches and drops. Poor little phone.

There' are huge innovations in Z5 which you can't find in any other models and brands.
Fingerprint sensor is new in Z5 and is not included in Z3! and it's place on the right side is fantastic... furthermore The LCD used in Z5 using Bravia Engine is not comparable with the other devices. Its camera focuses in less than 0.03s ... Also... Why there's no M5 there in your list????????????????????????????
