I think samsung is the better option. But pries of it is very high.
How many pictures per day the average non selfie addict takes??
But how many times does he uses his screen? How many times does he consumes the phones battery? How many of us will any of the friends accessories, yet how many of us are threatened daily by air humidity (that voids quarantees) and the dreadful digitizer (that is caused by mere dust and affects all phones) ?
Just put aside yr gimmick impulses for a while and think hard of what really matters, this not about LG and Samsung, this about where we want the industry to go next, what do we want to keep and what to change?
Back cover peeling off? Bigger dimensions, bigger bezels yet smaller screen??
Thinner and thinner at the expense of battery capacity??
3 cameras instead of air humidity and dust proofness??
I had the legendary G2 and G3, i know that LG can do better! Better battery endurance, better bezels, better premium feel from plastics feel like metal and not vise versa, i think now that they have lost their way and i am starting to afraid that they wont come back...
[deleted post]dont cry fanboy....It just the way nature works...the big bad ugly samsung got old and they cant copy apple anymore since iphone 7 aint out...0 inovation 0 vision...samsung is the apple of android...on the otherhand lg and huawei are still young and in power...so go go go android low...mean power:)))

mir, 30 Apr 2016Let me think of a joke... Selfiecchirethink what phone can do
G5 is more attractive. If it double the battery life, it would be the king of 2016...
AnonD-402029, 30 Apr 2016its just April, still early to make a jokeLet me think of a joke...
AnonD-308243, 29 Apr 2016careful man once u go Samsung there is no turning back, been using samsung handsets since wave... moreHehe, i can see whay you think like that, but i am no fanboy. I always want the best product for my money, wheather that is Samsung, LG, Sony, Motorola, HTC or some other brand (except Apple, i don't like their policy). I simply dont care for fanboyism or "brand loyality". I only assess what is the best product for my needs at the time of buying, and it happens to be the S7 this year. Next year i might go for the G6, HTC11 or maybe a Nexus 7p (or whatever).. I hope you get my point, as i am trying to tell you that every buyer should have this kind of attitude to make all the companies to improve their products eventually...
AnonD-402029, 30 Apr 2016its just April, still early to make a jokeno one is going to come close this year.
even last year the exynos 7420 was wiping the floor with almost anything around it.
I'd prefer the S7. If I have to nitpick, I need a Nexus and replace the glass back with aluminum!
atb, 30 Apr 2016The G5 is a good phone but i think the s7 edge has the overall better package better screen mu... moreEven then the camera had more matured processing in many sittuations. Just too much in some cases.
Anonymous, 30 Apr 2016forget all this. S7 is the phone of the yearits just April, still early to make a joke
AnonD-217536, 30 Apr 2016I bought the S7 Edge first, then when LG G5 was available, bought it too.
But now i have the ... moreSealed battery is terrible. It hardly makes the phone slimmer, yet when the battery rots away inside its still cage you'd *have to* throw away the phone, or service it destroying its structural integrity.
It's a lose-lose scenario that only benefits the companies. Honestly, consumers should stop buying things directly made to cause them harm (cause them to throw away perfectly usable phones)...
