htc 10 will be my next smartphone for sure
AnonD-442781, 03 May 2016Speed tests show the phone to be quite slow. They most likely cheated the test. No other bench... morethe only logical explanation for such high antutu score for HTC10 is that HTC heavily overclocked the chipset. Hope it won't experience throttling, would love to see how much score in antutu it gains when running like 5x.
AnonD-206292, 03 May 2016Antutu score of SD 820 averages out at sub 130k but HTC 10 got 154k, now that's some serious o... moreI wouldn't blame screen for bad battery endurance. HTC10 screen has very low brightness when compared to other flagships, even most of the amoled panels have better maximum brightness. Not sure why HTC did this. I expect sunlight tests not to be below average only in case HTC built LCD panel with incredibly high contrast (above 2000:1) and lower reflection than amoleds, which is apparently not the case if you check other reviews :(
AnonD-265341, 03 May 2016Bad camera? Whaterver you are smoking i want some!well, just compare HTC10 shots with for example Huawei P9 and you find it very subpar - incredibly soft and blurry edges, low details, low dynamic range. very surprising, I expected much much better from HTC10 camera, the only pro for HTC10 is color accuracy, otherwise the camera is no go for me. I would definitely go for G5, P9 or S7 instead. I think it wil perform below average in sunlight tests when compared to other flagships. I suspect HTC to "pay" something to reviewers for making it a "bit" in favor of HTC10. check PA's review of HTC10, they praised it even when its display is much worse than competition, the same applies for camera and speakers - yes they sound fine but the loudness is subpar. If the price is below 500e I would think about getting one, but not for this price. sorry HTC

Antutu score of SD 820 averages out at sub 130k but HTC 10 got 154k, now that's some serious optimization there. And with all those optimization done, its hard to believe it only managed a 66hr of endurance rating. I suspect, BoomSound speakers and screen are the major culprit in lowering battery endurance.
Well, as we all should know by now, the phone disappoints. The only good thing is audio, other than that it has nothing on the s7. Battery life in particular is disappointing.
Speed tests show the HTC 10 to be slower than phones that came out last year even.
I'm wondering about that antutu score though, nobody has been able to say why, so I'm guessing HTC found a way to cheat it.
Anuj, 03 May 2016Did they notice reddish tint in camera samples taken from Samsung S7 ? Looks wierd. HTC looks ... moreYup, orange tint all ower s7...
This is a rushed-out review. First, was it done with the bug fix update that went out earlier? Second, where is the sunlight legibility test? I suspect that the scores will change once a proper retail unit is tested with the latest update.
Did they notice reddish tint in camera samples taken from Samsung S7 ? Looks wierd. HTC looks more real, while Samsung has this reddish tint all over white object in low light pics.
AnonD-379427, 03 May 2016As expected, everything HTC said are lies. Battery life sucks Bad camera Slow phone... moreBad camera? Whaterver you are smoking i want some!
The battery is the main reason this wont be bought by me, that and the samsung like design, ( the front atleast). But i think HTC has done a good job , the m9 was a horrible phone.
htc know they cannot beat samsung
so they remove boomsound and should to copy samsung design phone
[deleted post]Ive read many htc 10 reviews and the battery results werent great. Just average

AnonD-523662, 03 May 2016Make your own test and you will be amazedHow? I do not own the device
Doze doesnt seem to work well on it
2k screen doesnt help either
no doubt htc offers good phone
htc 10 is nice phone with great design
the only problem point is that htc is very late in offering software upgrades.
sometime they do not offer software upgrade at all.
they should come up with solution to rapidly upgrade to latest version of OS.
AnonD-523662, 03 May 2016Make your own test and you will be amazedThe battery tests are all done the same way so it is all relative.... high end devices really should be 80 hours plus on these tests.
well well...... a htc device with average battery life... who would have guessed.
