GSMarena did you make sure that HTC dident cheat again in the Antutu benchmark? Like they did in the past by boosting the performance when the benchmark is detected?
You should be able to see this, if the result is red and the UI score is red aswell.
Anonymous, 04 May 2016I'll take the HTC 10 over the S7 with Snapdragon but not the one with Exynos. The price will come down!
The price WILL come down!
IMO this is a great looking device & they've done a cracking job.
I look forward to seeing their new nexus device.
Anonymous, 03 May 2016Most your points are made up and are your opinion. OIS on Front facing cam is really nice thou... moreSeriously, you rely everything on one review only? Read more. Try DXOMark for one. Honestly I believe HTC10 is underrated. And no, its not about numbers; its about experience. Thats why iOS is so well-loved. (I own Nokia Lumia 1020). Think of Xiaomi, Huawei, Le Eco etc. with overcharged specs but failed dismally in following. I say it again, its all about user experience. Everything else is just petty opinions.
Tann Hauser, 03 May 2016I should say...go for X performance for camera ;-) Well, I'm waiting for Huawei P9 and HTC10 to be available on local stores so I can do my own "hands-on". What I want is fine display (I still prefer amoleds since I had my first samsung) and great camera with at least average battery life running on nice performing UI - I do not like TW for its weird performance and not sure if going for new samsung and flashing CM is the way I want to go with new phone. I would prefer not needing to replace default OS. I had HTC before and I was running CM, also I had galaxy S3 once and was also running CM :D
Anonymous, 04 May 2016best performance machine ever htc 10 great look , great camera , great battery life, htc 1... moreGreat look ? Its far the worst looking flagship in 2016. Fanboys have been so disappointed in htc in the past years that are now amazed by the " quality" of camera. S7 is best flagship in 2016 hands down. I am a lg g4 user but samsung,lg ,htc and sony ( the incoming x performance) are way too expensive. I will go for the huawei p9 since the phone is nice looking with nice camera setup. Its more afordable. 500 usd in my country compared to 660 up to 700+ usd.
AnonD-265341, 03 May 2016PA is a horrible site for reviews. It is more like a medicore tec-news site. I NEVER trust th... moreTrue. PA is primary for apple oriented people, they used to underrate non-IOS phones until they started to like samsungs too. But if you check for example PA reviews of Chinese android flagships it is not objective at all! I like samsung for the HW (super amoleds and fine cameras) but as you said, TW is very horrible implementation of Android UI. It is laggy over time no matter what HW you are running on :/ This is my second saumsung now, I had HTC and SONY before and I was quite happy with it. Let's see when HTC10 hit the markets in Europe, I always prefer my own hands-on experience.
Anonymous, 04 May 2016HTC just rolled out an update that will bring a lot of improvement to the camera department so... moreThis could prove interesting. Also hope they can bring a battery life enhancement.
Though average usage is actually good looking. It seems talk time is what took the bigger hit.
Anonymous, 03 May 2016G5 and S7 0_o. You know the HTC competitors. HTC 10 is not even better than the Nexus 6P.it's your opinion and totally wrong. I'm sure that you never have worked with mobile better than nokia 1100 or 1200..... I happy see that every other brands fan coming here and write big lie.that cause of htc good work.
htc 10 is the best mobile ever made

Anonymous, 04 May 2016HTC competitors are not Samsung Galaxy S7 or LG G5. These 2 are in a different league IMHO. H... moreif you have seen many sites comparison you will find out that htc camera was equal to other new competitor(s7,g5 and 6s). and after htc 10 updating the camera gets better and stand out alone.now first place is occupaied with htc 10. ur pm shows that u r jealous and get ripped from htc 10. maybe ur family get too.and u said about battery! big liar i have to tell u that htc 10 has good battery too. also the battery life is equals to little better to s7(sd820) and is better than lg g5. htc 10 has 66h endurance but g5 has 60h. now ur bo...m get ripped more.
AnonD-192048, 04 May 2016So the battery life of the HTC 10 and the Galaxy S7 with SN820 are worse than the Galaxy S6?
... moredear Shocky, galaxy S6 battery life was a big lie and not stands as Samsung said. I know that but after 1year Samsung snares its big lie. s7 has bigger battery and low consumption SoC and how s6 can have better battery life???????!!!!!!!!!!! I write this comment for who like to know the truth.always Samsung cheats people and this story is continuous.... Samsung is a big liar.
for sure htc 10 has better battery in compare to S6 and S7 with SD820.
also htc has many setting that you can set screen as FHD and if do the battery life will increase very more(over 75h endurance)....
So the battery life of the HTC 10 and the Galaxy S7 with SN820 are worse than the Galaxy S6?
Anonymous, 03 May 2016G5 and S7 0_o. You know the HTC competitors. HTC 10 is not even better than the Nexus 6P.Ha ha funny
best performance machine ever htc 10
great look , great camera , great battery life, htc 10 # 1 this year
Anonymous, 04 May 2016I'll take the HTC 10 over the S7 with Snapdragon but not the one with Exynos.Exynos is worst cheap quality mobo ever
Even mediatek is better
AnonD-251889, 03 May 2016Maybe they were comparing it to the G5 with the swappable custom DAC?I don't think so. The B&O module didn't test that good in some of the other reviews I have seen. Not saying it wasn't good, but it too would score better than what was represented in the comparison.
The audio figures in the test were not even as good as my LG G3 from years ago. 89 noise level and dynamic range in the 80's with average crosstalk figures on a phone that optimizes between left and right channels? Not buying it!
I listened to the HTC 10 against the G5 and GS7 and there is no way they were utilizing the DAC and other funtions available on this phone for this review. It just seems like they either didn't try it made up the results because this phone should compare to the V10 with the Hi-Fi enabled.
