Wrong, 20 May 2016Sony mobile and sony camera are two totally different business. Just because its same name doe... moreyou mean both of them are subsidaries of sony corporation??
and how does that matter??
even with your argument sony mobile division should be the one doing post capture processing of the images...so..
The phone is a superb mid ranger but too bad the price is a letdown
Sony now sucking at music output and stereo speakers, pricing, i wont be suprised that it will cost same as z sony z5 on launch and xp will cost like as z5 premium was, dissapointed from sony
Once again ga is not happy with camera. Just download a photo and check it out it is on par with today's flagship standard
They use polycarbonate because of antenna, who needs 100% metal design to make it become non-antenna?
Sorry of multiple post because can't edit.

XA : Plastic
X : Metal rear and Metal-effect polycarbonate frame, So it's always plastic, not a good material for me
XP : Brushed Metal rear (Graphite Black & White only) and Metal-effect polycarbonate frame
Agree with the reviewers It's a great mid-high phone but its too expensive. Sony needs to price their phone competitively.
AnonD-527105, 20 May 2016to be fair x is twice as powerful as A9I agree, but I was making a point about Sony's pricing strategy, the galaxy S7 and LG G5 are both more powerful flagships that are cheaper than Sony's midranger, it's Madness!
AnonD-527105, 20 May 2016to be fair x is twice as powerful as A9True, by its also considerably less powerful than rival devices of which it is currently more expensive.
I keep saying that at £400 or less this could be considered the recommended device for the category.
At its current price...it's a Plain rip off

Do Sony pay any attention to their rivals, as the review says HTC released the A9, a good looking midrange handset but with a poor chip set and awful battery . It was slated by reviewers, mainly because of its premium price tag. Sony has just made a huge blunder, no need to buy this handset, much better devices available that are less expensive.
This phone has mediocre battery life, a horrible DAC, and no video recording higher than full HD ...
Reminds me of midrange devices from 2012, terrible phone.
An HTC would feel much more worth it in the face of this and its price.
X for grass. (I was thinking that it's just minor problem, but after looking on X and other X(Force), it's just painful to watch)
It's certainly not a looker
Price is this device's biggest obstacle. At £400 it would be a pretty solid bet.
At its current price though, it simply is not value for money.
And it seem that whilst Sony are constantly improving, the camera department still has a ways to go.
Sorry Xperia X, you are not cup of my tea anymore.
-Reboot if unplug SIM Tray
-Loudspeaker is the worst (too low volume than Z5/M5)
-Camera noise once again and always the worst panorama ever
-Battery life, the most hopeless
