Editors, can you add the SOC info for the performance charts please. This would greatly help when we view the charts, giving more perspective/depth to the analysis. Not all of us remember by heart the SOC used for each phone.

So, would you recommended this device for buying or not ?
Is the mobile which can keep you 2-3 years , and to avoid display problems ?

I was listening to the audio quality of the recordings, and it seemed to me that the Left and Right channels are swapped. Can you please check?
Did you maybe hold the device 'upside down' while recording? (can I assume phones switch channels based on orientation of the phone?)

Did anyone try any loud environment video recording? I understand that there should be a feature that has little to no saturation of the audio...

Xz8441, 24 May 2016Mediatek, Your overclocked X25 10 cores can't even beat 8 cores Kirin/Exynos... You should ... moreHey bud, the Kirin SoC uses the same (a bit higher clocked) Mali T880 mp4. What they made them(Kirins) stand out among same SoC config is their fixed memory controller which results to impressive CPU-bound output.

Mediatek, on the other hand, still has a large room to fill for core optimisation on their 3-part architecture design. Add that to a measly 2600mAh and you get a perfect disaster on battery endurance.

X10, x20/x25 are their topnotchers but, in reality(and as of the moment), it serves for higher mid-rangers. Not for a suitable flagship SoC.

Da faq -_- the most beautiful phone around .. with satisfactory chip and screen .... but but .. why? Why this puny battery? Did any user begged for slimmer design rather than battery life? Look at sammy they corrected witth s7 ( I love it)...

alexv, 25 May 2016are you kidding me ? :p i'm actually surprised that the helio x25 managed 57h of endurance wit... moreWell, my judgement was based on some simple calculation as below:
2560 to 3000 mah is around 17.19% increment.
Therefore, assuming if Meizu bump up its battery to 3000mah, theoretically it should pass the endurance test by around 67hr which is still a joke compared Xiaomi Mi5 92hr endurance test achievement.

With that said, probably that's not how it works.

what is the point not 5000mah with power hungry hardware. i think if add another 2000mah it's still light weight than using the 10000mah powerbank.

smaller than average phone means smaller than average battery and a battery killer CPU paired up with a not so efficient UI all leads to less than average battery life,
no sd expansion? considering market's been hit with +200gb sd cards lacking such option means staying out of spotlight.

Not on... moreare you kidding me ? :p i'm actually surprised that the helio x25 managed 57h of endurance with such a smallish battery ! you should blame the 2500mah battery.

This phone should have been pro 5 mini....

Meizu is a very weird brand that they have the blurriest product lines in the world.
Pro 6 is actually downgraded from Pro 5 in many aspects except appearance.
I like how Meizu change their philosophy that they focus on the overall design rather than stacking up specifications, but they need to be more specific about difference between the product lines. I still don't understand, which is the flagship series? Pro series? MX series? Or a new flagship series? MX used to be the top flagship of Meizu, but they changed to MX4pro in 2014, and to Pro 5 in 2015, and it seems to be changed again this year since Pro 6 seems not to be the Meizu flagship in 2016.

LeEco Le 2 Pro, with almost the same hardware, is less than half the price around here.

                                  Just sayin'...
