I brought this fon may2016 to till .2020 sep. this is an
amazing phone ..its very nice all functions good working.. but it is slip from my hand thats why a little bit screen are not working

I have used this phone since January 2016, it's almost 5 years old now. It was quite a good experience. Towards the latter half of 2019 it lost some sensitivity in the touch screen and in early 2020 almost 70% of the screen was no longer sensitive. I think I was just unlucky as I have friends who had the phone just as long but don't have the same problems. If everything was still working the phone still could be used for a few more years if you are only using whatsapp, insta and just using normal calls and messages. It had served me well throughout the years and now finally it is time to upgrade.

Good strong phone I brought 2016 still using it. basic phone for general use you can't expect much like modern phone. Due to technology advancement it will not support the latest app I mean it work but very slow we lost our coolness. phone software support only 2-4 yrs after that it become slow with new update.It has done its duty its time to say Goodbye.

The front camera is not working . when I open the camera there's no way for me to use front camera, no button to press it disappeared . SO DISAPPOINTED !

Qaalibibnu qaalib, 01 Jul 2017When I make calls the dial pad features can't see so , I can,t hang up when I want to cance... moreExperienced the same issue on mine and found out that my proximity sensor is broken. Yours may still be working, so I suggest you to turn the proximity sensor off during phone calls so that your screen won't go black throughout.
I only removed mine because in Messenger, I can't end voice calls and video chats that my whole screen is pure black. Such build quality tbh.

I am partha sarathi kar from Kolkata...I have purchased ASUS ZenFone Max from Kolkata store on 15th January 2017...but I am totally disappointed after using it...since last 2-3 month I am facing lots of problem in this phone....
1. While I am switching on my phone it will take to 5-8 min to restart.
2. Switching on rear camera will take 3-4 min...than rear to front will take again 2 min
3. Typing of any messages very very slow.
4. Updating of any software will take 10-15 min
5. While going to call someone will have to wait for 2min....
6. When I purchased this phone 2-3 Months battery backup was excellent but now have to change twice in a day.....
Fully hanging phone...why????
Totally fell embracing in front of my friends or office colic.....
I am totally disappointed....
I need solution......

Anonymous, 26 Oct 2016Really? Or you just using it while charging??offcouse it charge that long. it has 4 time the capacity of an average phone. bigger battery = longer time to charge. that's just logical

One thing. I have bought Asus Zenfone 2 and a very bad experience that it's 2nd slot does not have Data connection. I am simply cheated. Because during online purchase through Flip cart nowhere it was mentioned about above drawback. I want to know Asus Zenfone Max's both the slot support 4GLTE Data connection or not?

.I have a budget of $200 - $230 and want to buy Asus phone..Which one you think is the best phone for my budget? Please help me..I've been searching, reading and watch many phone review from many brand yet still can't decide..So please can you give me some advice..And it doesn't have to be only Asus phone, you can suggest any brand..Please can someone give me an advice?
.Oh..yeah and I need the phone to have a good back and front camera..As for the performance I'm not a heavy user but still need a good smooth phone

guys, do you know how to slow down its shutter speed of up to 32s running in Lollipop version. Marshmallow supports the shutter speed but lollipop doesn't. I've downgraded my device because marshmallow has a lot of bugs like the camera will crash if you'll going to burst mode. or do you know another way of doing the laser light effects on camera? thanks for the help :)
