I'm going to have to get the international version then, i want fingerprint scanner and i want the 64gb model fresh out the box. Taiwan seems to be getting the best version of this phone so far. Also, i thought video recording had image stabilization up to 4k. Hopefully amazon offers the other models as well.

    Avan Dr, 02 Jun 20162K is 1440p. I dont know who decided it, yes i myself prefer 1080p is 2k bcz its half uhd. ... more2k is 2048 pixels horizontally, while 4k is 4096 pixels horizontally.
    You can call 1080p as 2k as long as it is 2048x1080 and not 1920x1080.
    Also, don't say that 1080p is half of 2160p just because of 2k and 4k.
    To put it simply,
    1080p = 2.1 Megapixels
    2160p (4k) = 8.3 Megapixels

          But anyway, with Sony controllers if you use a cable apparently it works pretty much flawlessly with little hassle. But with Xbox you need to root or something even with a cable.

                    Xz8441, 02 Jun 2016All these Sony fanboys will try all their hardest to come up with incoherent reasons just to s... moreWell, the official Samsung galaxy game controller cost usd110, but a ps4 dual shock 4 cost usd50, more importantly, the official Samsung game controller has really poor tactile feedback and is very poorly designed, probably comparable to atari jaguar controller in terms of responsive control, design and ergonomics, but the ps4 dual shock controller is just awesome (also changing messy keyboard drivers, remapping or search and connect controller, just much simpler and better once you have native support) , which one will you buy?

                      - Transparent cover failed at big even mwc. How embarrassing.. They also didnt have fingerprint 'App' installed. Representative said it need 'APP'
                      http://m.gsmarena.com/interview_with_sony_mwc_2016-review-1397.php
                      - UI. Everything is still stock, notification center, task mgr, nav bar. NO USB MASS STORAGE MODE, to take ss still need to press power. They only touch launcher. Like a newbie strartup, right?
                      -Cant fix small app problem, it always run and cant be disabled. So they choose to remove it.
                      - about 4K, To make it run 4K it need to tweak the ui, everything need to be set in 801dpi, icons, text, widget etc. They cant. I think since original Z, they only do copy pasting.
                      - Never make neat software tweak. Never have additional hardware. Always use standard set up, all Experians have standar set up ordinary Screen, camera with single led flash small pixel.Just like low end phone, only better in specs.

                      - (bonus. This is my analyse, i maybe wrong)Memory problem. 20gb free from 32gb. I guess its they same problem with my 2012 eXperiAn. It copies many types of file, even if we delete the original file the copy still there.

                        No 4k recording? Are u sure? Lolz....

                        And I hope sony improve its speaker as some reviews of Sony xperia X has underpowered speaker which is not louder. It has been that way since sony Z Series. Also have some issues for headphone which need turn up more volume to get boom sounds. Earphone users have no problem listen songs with normal volume. Come on sony lets rock ur x series with these problem will exist no more.

                          regs, 02 Jun 2016Except their phones are all 2K, as 1080p is 2K, not 1440p.2K is 1440p. I dont know who decided it, yes i myself prefer 1080p is 2k bcz its half uhd.

                          But i dont want to discuss about it. You know what i mean about 2K. Can we just back to substance or i need to edit my previous post, change 2K with 1440p, then repost it.

                            Anonymous, 02 Jun 20161080p is 2k. No idea why most people don't know this. Indeed. 1440p = Quad-HD = QHD.

                            4K = 3840x2160, => 2K = 1/2 * 3840 = 1920... => 1920x1080.

                            Arguably 1920x1920 would also "only" be 2K, since it's named after the horizontal line count...
