And yes there are custom roms but it's not everyone's cup of tea unlocking bootloaders and installing custom roms need some level of technical skills and knowledge not everyone can do it most people brick their phones trying to install a custom Rom

They are asse... moreAre you serious do you even know the difference between assembly and manufacturing yes these companies buy most of the hardware from other manufacturer btw do think other companies like Samsung and apple don't do that do you think the parts that they use which are Qualcomm chipsets, Sony sensors etc are all manufactured in house by Samsung and apple
Foxconn is an assembly company not xiaomi or coolpad
Xiaomi and coolpad have their own R&D, design and manufacture factories and due to excess demand they are even getting their phones assembled by Foxconn

For all the people who say this phone has overheating problems
Cmon people this is 2016 every phone heats the higher the cores and hardware the more heat and you can't put fans inside to cool either hence every smartphone is prone to heat in one or the other circumstances
xiaomi redmi 3 also has heating problem according to many people you can Google it for more info
For people who want phones that don't heat they should opt for basic Nokia phones or feature phones

It runs on Android M an... moremoto's software only "looks" like AOSP or stock Android, it's actually worse. where software on redmi note3 pro looks worse, works better (I like stock Android, and hate any implemented skin) then there's cyanogenmod. on same software platform you could totally see the difference between 617 and 650.
camera doesn't matter to me is the phone is worse

The conclusion said that motorola needs Lenovo distribution network to succeed. I was wondering why Lenovo didnt help in distibuting the moto x style in my region south east asia. I think the X style is a wonderful product but just it didbt get to the consumers over here...

Compared to the 1st Gen Moto G, this phone is a huge upgrade. My Moto G (1st Gen) is still decent and build quality is very good. Motorola generally gives good build quality. I'm waiting for the new Moto X (or Z) to upgrades. Hopefully that will have everything powerful enough for the next 3 years.

Hey there has been also reports of yellowish tint on moto g4 plus screen. I have seen it in my friends phone as well( He has returned it for replacement. Do you guys know anything about that?

So how is it better?
At the end of the day what matters is usability IMHO, and not whats inside... Moto X (1st Gen) had a dual core processor when rest all were having Quad core. But it was way beyond other's reach when it came to usability.
I will be interacting with the software, not the hardware.
