Karen, 10 Aug 2016How come this phone has no SAR? We need to know if le eco phones are safe to use.If it's allowed to be sold then it's safe to use. The actual SAR value is completely useless and can't be used for anything.

sachi, 14 Jun 2016Can USB type C headphones audio be amplied by tweaking power outputs of type C port ? Is it po... moreHi Sachi,
The 3.5 mm port/ pin has been in existence since the early days of sound recording / broadcasting. We have listened on headphones through the 3.5 mm port provided on pocket radios, portable cassette players, etc.
In these cases the sound information was recorded on a magnetic tape in a method called 'Analogue Recording'. When the tape was played back in player, the tape-head ( also a magnet ) created tiny currents as it 'read' the magnetic field on the tape. These tiny currents also called 'signals' , are then amplified by the electronics inside the player to a strength sufficient enough to vibrate the large box speakers or the tiny speakers of our earphones.
After the arrival of Digital Technology, sound recording went digital and the analogue sound signals were converted to digital information through devices called ADCs ( Analogue-Digital Converters).
This enabled sound recordings to be stored as binary files on a hard-disk or the pen-drive. These are the Mp3 files that we have on our mobiles.
During playback on our mobile Phone, the binary files are reconverted to Analogue signals through devices called DACs ( present inside the phone) and then amplified and fed to our earphones through the 3.5 mm jack.
The Type- C is a technological advancement. The reconversion mentioned above now takes place in the earphones itself. The DAC and the amplifier chips are moved into the earphones and the conversion done very close to the ear. This is expected to improve the quality of sound dramatically.
Further, this connector has more pins than the earlier USB connectors. The extra pins will now allow data to enter the phones. Future earphones may come with sensors to measure our pulse or temperature near our neck/ ear and transmit the vital information back to the phone through the earphone cable!
Now to your question of connecting the audio to an external amp.
The designers of the Type- C have already reserved two pins for providing the traditional Analogue stereo sound. This can be accessed through a small adaptor which manufacturers will soon start selling as the new earphones become more popular. With these adaptors one can plug in their existing earphones or connect to an external amp.
And with numerous Bluetooth spkrs/ systems available, now this requirement may also fade in future.
Hope the info was useful.
Cheers,

AnonD-294709, 27 Jun 2016Guys Please do not even think of Buying from LE ECO brand, they have zero interest in after s... moreDear Mr. Bhat,
You are saying absolutely right. I am also facing the same problem regarding 10 days return policy. I purchased my Le Max2 through Lemall.com on 28th June's flash sale and received my Le Max2 on 6th of July. After than, using phone about 7-8 days, I noticed that there is problem in camera quality and finger print sensor. I reported my problems on lemall.com on 13th of July. They accepted my return request and give me my return request ID=2016071300013. After than, I called them several times. First time they give me time of 24-48 hours, after then, they give me one week time, now they are saying that the return procedure is from 14 days to 21 days. And after receiving the parcel back, they give me my refund after 14 to 21 days. That means the return procedure will be completed in 42-60 days.
Le eco should include 2 type c ports - for ear piece and charging /data cable. Now I use the port for music and the battery gets discharged and I am unable to recharge it at all. So the current practice of headphone jack works best for listening to songs and the micro usb or type c port allows charging. no conflict.
AnonD-159252, 19 Jun 2016certainly rose or gold rose is not a color for guysHad 6 GB/64 GB version ....Colour is nice , ...All images showing pink shade on it but its not so visible in my handset.
Kress, 09 Jun 2016No audio jack? No, thanks. Really stupid move.It doesn't mean No Audio jack. C Type port works as both your audio jack and Charging port.
