Very good review, as usual.
I hope that SONY include RADIO FM in a second semester 2016 flagship. At least a Third World version of it.

It 'feels' like the SD820 in this smartphone is unmolested in software-trigger for benchmarks and it can breathe well on graphics with the FHD screen. In addition, I'm surprised it did better in screen contrast against other LCD-based display like LG and HTC.

Battery endurance kept on declining but it'll be healthier over the years through the Qnovo QNS software (I hope it had the Qnovo QN200 chip for fast charging and best battery life).

The camera is good, still needs post-process improvement (The lack of OIS really took a toll in lowlight). Those high pixels are not gonna help any more than it did.

Now all you need to do is admit the camera, audio volume, build quality, video recording and price is a joke.

I said it before and I'll say it again, this phone is crap. Would I buy it? Yes, if it launched at 250-300 bucks. But at this price, S7 Edge, S7, hell even S6, not to mention the HTC 10, Mi5, G5, those are all better phones, and most of them are even frikin cheaper!

I've bought the Xperia Z5 Premium when they came out last year, and I Love it, it's the longest I've had one phone in few years, there's nothing there that feels more Premium in my opinion, feels like when IPhone came out with the 4, glass and metal, that was a treat, looking pass that Sony's availability in USA is close to non, which makes consumers either order it from overseas, and those are the loyal customers, and the rest that might of purchase the phone will go with different brand and save them selves a hustle, why is mobile dept calling losses? No wonder, who's the idiot that runs the marketing there.
IPhone can slap a apple on anything and still makes sells, Sony doesn't have that type of fan base, so why bring a new phone with lower specs outside of the processor, get rid of that Premium feel you get from glass, price it like Apple and expect good sales? it's obvious that whoever makes the calls is a clueless bustard, Sony has the technology, best design out there, build the best possible phone you can, make it available, and it will sell I guarantee.

On closer look the camera is quite poor. All those pixels are wasted if you can't pixel peep, that's the whole point of using anything above 12mp.

Looks like camera of the year will be between the g5 and the s7 which have their strengths and weaknesses. Maybe Apple will finally get on top of things and release a decent camera this year, although I wouldn't hold my breath.

I.e. a two year old battery featuring Qvono should be in much better shape than a standard battery.

Not really the glowing review that was hoped for, and now when you consider you can get a OnePlus 3 for around £250 less than the X-P, it's relevance is further reduced.

                                    Shame.
