AnonD-442781, 24 Jun 2016On second glance I realise you're totally right. Especially the battery life, its just amazing. LOL.X performance has really good specs. Especially its camera. But its battery life is quite low for a high end phone. Asus zenfone has a higher battery life (4600-5000mAh)
AnonD-391800, 24 Jun 2016Everything is excellent about this device. You as a fanboy will of course...deny everything ;-) On second glance I realise you're totally right. Especially the battery life, its just amazing. LOL.

Display - low resolution and extremely poorly calibrated and innacurate.
Storage I/o - by Toshiba, very low read/write scores
Body - plastic frame, like z5, will probably snap the same way. Has large bezels.
Camera - noisy and overprocessed, no 4k, overheats sometimes
Price and release - overpriced and late release
Of course, you're just a fanboy so these concerns mean nothing to you and are just 'insignificant'. Sure, its still a functional phone, but it isn't worth anything close to the price. It made concessions compared to other flagships so it should have been cheaper. Instead not only did they make it more expensive but they released it late.
Tell me, what's actually good about the device?
Thus Sony cell flagship is the Real deal!

Sokarthreat, 22 Jun 2016Z5 user cant video more than 1 min in the summer at fullhd because app crash by heat. This is ... moreAre you living in India? You should know the India is suffer from high temperature climate about 40 ℃ something, I think all device can not stay for that too long not only Sony.
In normal usage it is fine, the 4K and VR photography will rise up some to about 39 to 45℃ something (but still can capture and not overheat) for 2~3 minute for my Z2. The Z5 has dual heatpipes and more thermal paste must be better than my Z2, unless you play the high graphics game or after direct use the 4K record. Those brand like Samsung etc also heat up alot when playing a 4K record, why you only trolling at here?
Why no 4K video? Is it just to make people still buy the Z5 series??? Yet Z5 has terrible shutter lag which they don't bother fixing until the X series and just about every other flagship has a faster camera.
Some people claimed to have prototype X Performance that can take 4K video - it's really just an additional app that Sony has disabled for the X series...
AnonD-25208, 22 Jun 2016Pretty good stuff, that's the kind of benchmark I wish we could see on GSMArena, some reviews ... morePerhaps, these kind of review is not included in most reviewers are because not yet having the right tools to use or to make the easier review for non tech-savvy people? I dunno...
Anyway, here it is:
"In the case of the iPhone 6s we've discussed what distinguishes its storage solution from others in this industry, but for those that are unaware the iPhone 6s uses PCIe and NVMe instead of a UFS or eMMC storage solution. In a lot of ways, this makes the storage on board closer to the SSD that you might find in a more expensive PC but due to PCB limitations you won't necessarily see the enormous parallelism that you might expect from a true SSD."
You could read it more on here:

It goes quite long, but I recommend you to read from the first page

In... morePretty good stuff, that's the kind of benchmark I wish we could see on GSMArena, some reviews makes it looks like they're reviewing a camera while our phones are becoming more computer-like. That's some relevant info and affects the overall experience.
When I put a 95Mb/s read 90Mb/s write MicroSD card on my Tegra Note 7 and made a swap partition and moved the games there through Link2SD it made a huge impact on performance.
What kind of memory puts the Iphone so high in those benchmarks?
AnonD-391800, 21 Jun 2016Nope, you re wrong on that storage thing.
I quote myself again
"This quote seems to be rel... moreYou read only what you liked . Now let me quote the para that follows immediately after what you copy-pasted :
". Now that we’ve gone over the test conditions, we can look at the actual storage performance, and storage performance is honestly at least slightly disappointing when Xiaomi and other OEMs are shipping significantly faster storage in phones that are hundreds of dollars cheaper. Sony is using Toshiba eMMC of some sort, but I wasn’t able to figure out exactly what it was as the model name isn’t anything that shows up on Google. Of course, it’s possible for a phone to end up being faster than expected despite differences in storage performance, but this sort of cost cutting is concerning when pretty much all of the high-end phones in the market are shipping solutions that are clearly faster regardless of protocol and storage standard. "

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2016My wife has a M4 Aqua and last week she said this is her first and last Sony-phone.To be fair, I paid next to nothing for mine and only use it as a backup device (I also have a Moto E 4G for the same purpose), so I kind of take this into account when judging it.
And you can pick up brand new M4's in the UK for not much more than £100 these days, which isn't bad value.
Other than the camera's (which stink in terms of quality), I still think, that price being equal of course then the M4 is an overall better proposition than say the 3rd gen Moto G (8gb), which is its closest match in terms of price.
But the M4 is by no means a great device no.
--, 21 Jun 2016Lol. Best joke from sony's sale man. Hooohoohooo... Flat means if you put it in on the table... moreit will take months to repair those scratches, because terrible after-sale service.
