Damn that looks amazing... i guess most ppl will be bumped about the battery (such as myself) but i really like the looks of the cell, well done Sony but ppl might ask for a bit more...

Funny thing is they claim 2days battery life for Z3, Z5, X also. This for entry level specs, midrange price. You can get A5(2016),G4,950,S5,Z3+, simply a lot phones, all a lot better than this. They would do better not releasing any phone than releasing this, really whats mystery behind release of this thing?

AnonD-510275, 22 Jun 2016Reading review on gsmarena and p****arena, xperia X has bad battery life on gsm, but exelent o... moregsmArena tests call time, web browsing and video playback with the endurance score also including standby consumption. pArena, however, runs a "custom web-script" that's supposed to simulate real-life usage, whatever that actually means, disregarding standby.
unless i misunderstood something, i think gsmArena has the better testing procedure for being more transparent and showing separate results for different types of usage so you can make your own comparison.
in the case of the Xperia X, the average endurance rating seems to come from rather high standby consumption.
you can use either test, you just have to know how to interpret and compare the result and how it was determined in the first place. a word or number alone doesn't say much

The slim width is the only attractive point for me in this phone. I will go for the z5 compact with extra 200 bucks over this phone. Cant accept it was not any better than my beloved two years old z1 compact.
