AnonD-571576, 17 Aug 2016I bought the phone on August 11. Today is August 17. For the first hour that I owned the phone... moreI have not experienced anything close to what you've experienced. Yes it does sound like a lemon. Did they take the phone back and issue you a new one?
I got this phone UNLOCKED on Ebay on August 25, 2016. I paid $150, and believe me, I did my homework, and for the budget I am on, this phone ROCKS! Nuff said :)
I was told by a MetroPCS rep that the phone can be unlocked after 90 days by calling up customer care. Tech support would most likely handle it I'd imagine.
Phone does not have specs that are advertised.Screen is not as clear as early max phone, colors are also worse, washed out,has less front panels, camera has poor auto focus,13 MP is a joke. Battery does not last as long as early max phone, phone also is not as stable.
I bought the phone on August 11. Today is August 17. For the first hour that I owned the phone I could download apps then I took it back to my metropcs store who were great trying to fix it but finally gave up and did a factory reset. Again I could download apps for about an hour from Google play then the problem recurred. Since then I've done a factory reset three more times and the problem recurs after about an hour. I think I got a lemon but I know one other person who has the same problem so there could be some kind of flaw in their software. Has anyone posted or heard of a solution for what looks to be a common problem for some but not every one of these phones. I like the phone and would keep it if I could get a replacement.
I own a zte grandmax which iextreemly love, the only hold back is speaker is way too low, megapicsel is great but with an increase of both and the storage internal and external id be a happy man.
I just so love this phone.

AnonD-135543, 19 Jul 2016It's a 99$ phone on contract, hope you read that fully. If i am wrong let me knowyes you are wrong because metropcs is a prepaid company
Who is the fingerprint supplier?
I see some people saying that the zmax pro is $99 with contract. MetroPCS doesn't do contracts. After you have used it for 3 months with MetroPCS, they will give you an unlock code for free.
One thing to keep in mind is that MetroPCS phones do become unlockable after a few months of service.
Very nic,, I can't wait
AnonD-135543, 19 Jul 2016It's a 99$ phone on contract, hope you read that fully. If i am wrong let me knowhere's what i read... you have to bear in mind that this price is for a unit locked to MetroPCS network. There is no contractual obligation for the carrier's services but for this price the phone won't take SIM cards from another carrier - not even T-Mobile's, even though T-Mobile owns the MetroPCS network and brand. so the phone is $99 NO contract! but it's locked to metro which doesn't bother me at all!
With 99$ with contract, you can buy much better phones. Sorry zte. You failed.
werrrr, 20 Jul 2016which is better, a media tech or a snapdragon??Snapdragon for sure
They'll lose millions of sales by not being on ATT.

AnonD-135543, 19 Jul 2016Well i just read it under conclusion "The ZTE Zmax Pro seems like the phablet to beat at $200 ... moreThat's a typo, MetroPCS doesn't do contracts.
