Samsung is not pushing techonolgy to the limits..why not 6gb ram for gaming fans or 20mp dual lens camera or a 4K screen like Z5 premium for vivid VR content? Many will be disappointed!

For the most fresh tech like camera, screen chip we will need to wait until S8. Shame they present this so long after S7. But still, best note until now, I hope gsm arena finally test this phone with HD/FHD resolution power saver setting (&exynos) so we can compare to likes of sony...

Note 7 is an amazing phone, with the edge screen, s pen, iris scanner, and many...
but i am in dilemma whether to buy s7 edge or note 7 or wait for the Nexus....
this is a great phone but its very similar to s7 edge features....
guys please help me... whether to wait for nexus or buy s7 edge or note 7......

No dual lens camera is a BIG fail. Samsung falling behind Apple for the first time!

Samsung should have focused on audio and a newer CPU/GPU chip. Samsung should have removed the 3.5mm headphone jack and put two stereo speakers on the Note 7 and package USB Type-C headphones. And the IR blaster and a mute switch would have been nice. Or double tapping the Volume down Key acts like a mute switch. Something useful. An Iris scanner is not of any use to me or anyone as of yet. If Apple put two speakers on the iPhone 7, that will be my new buy. Shame, because the black Note 7 is beautiful and a worthy buy. Samsung should focus more on entertainment and not solely just business features.

Nothing too great, same looking phone just a bigger version of S7 Edge with S pen.
iris scanner would be bummer considering it's coming first time and will definitely have some room for improvement.
I wish they would have included bigger battery, 6gb RAM and IR blaster to make it complete package.
SD slot and curved screen welcoming change from Note 5.

Iris scanner is way to much to use. You have to match your eyes with ther camera. Whcih takes time. Fringer print is still the best and fast. Was hoping for an ir blaster and a bigger battery. Lets see what the v20 has on hands.

wait... i can't understand why ppl are complaining when comparing with s7, the only changes they made between s6 edge and note 5 was bigger screen and a bit bigger battery (ommiting the edge of course), and u know why is that? becuz is targeted for different markets, if u already own a s7 then u dont NEED to upgrade to note 7, if u love the pen, then u can't possibly have bought the s7 knowing note 7 was close to unveil (makes little sense)
so if u don't like the pen or the edge feature just buy a s7 and be happy since u'll like it and if u own a previous note or some other phone and are interested on the pen feature evaluate if the upgrade for note 7 is worth it or not is as simple as that

There are plenty of nice wee improvements over the s6 edge plus for example: gorilla glass 5, waterproofness, fast charging, f1.7 on the front camera, etc.
But i really wish the battery was 3800mAh at least! 4000 would have been perfect - that reason alone keeps me away from this device and makes me stick with s7 edge (which i love) and wait until the lg v20 comes out...

To be honest I didn't get the purpose of this model. There is almost no difference between this and S7 Edge (except S Pen and some minor ones). Plus, I hope they didn't paint metal frame around screen. If they did - it's a terrible mistake because pain will come off and get scratches very soon. Plus, curved edges are not proved to be something useful. Indeed many people are complaining of accidental inputs they trying to hold the phone in the hand.

Seriously Samsung...What did you do to the Note and Galaxy line? These phones used to be the cutting edge flagships in the entire android line. Now they're just run of the mill reactionary phones with a processor bump. What happened to being Revolutionary?

It is basically an S6 Edge+ body, with an S-Pen and an Iris Scanner. Though I got my S6 Edge+ stolen a month ago, I am planning to get the S7 Edge instead of buying Note 7. Mainly because of the reason that the shape and features(almost) are same in S6 Edge+ and Note 7.
