Never liked curved screens. Looks ugly and not practical. Plenty of accidental touches when holded in hand.

I've been a very commited Samy hater all my life...been LG, but I've been thinking of settling down devise-wise: the Note 7 is definitely the devise for me, love what Samy have done with the dual edge look and functionality, good battery, and expandible memory, not to mention IP68 certification and improved stylus; I wasn't gonna get it if it didn't come with these features. Though I will also be looking out for the iPhone 7S Plus before I actually settle for either device...already leaning towards N7 though lol

Don't mind the edge screen. It's not as pronounced as the s7 edge and is mostly to give the phone a stylish bezels-free look. Also there's the usb c port, iris scanner, 3500 mah battery, better display, new improved gear vr headset compactible, better processor and more. Still not worth the upgrade?

To be honest, if someone is having Note 5 then there is no strong reason to upgrade for note 7 except for the storage. The note 5 runs all apps smoothly and its very powerful for android apps as of now. Even with restricted power saving mode it runs all apps without any issues. This doesnot mean note 7 is bad, all iam saying is note 5 is still in the competition. Note 7 would be a perfect upgrade for those who owns Note 4.

Its been a year, and i never did reset my note 5 and it still runs without any lag. Touch wiz has improved a lot with note 5 and hence UI is pretty good if not the best without any lags.

Now i think i can keep my note 5 for another year or so and wait for next generation.

AnonD-77443, 03 Aug 2016Once LG fix their battery life i will consider them.LOL! Worst Android UI. Pathetic battery life. Garbage build quality. Pathetic call quality and reception. Phones creating records of going to bootloop because of faulty motherboards, yeah that's LG all right.

The Note 7 is only 1mm wider than the S7 Edge. The only real difference on the front is the Note 7 has a longer screen. Not exactly very useful. For someone that doesn't need an S-Pen, there is no point at all to buy the Note 7.

How about a real phablet? Anyone?

AK, 02 Aug 2016Samsung is not pushing techonolgy to the limits..why not 6gb ram for gaming fans or 20mp dual ... moreWhat's with you guys and this "bigger numbers are better " attitude? Has it ever occurred to you that the same way samsung made a better camera using less pixels they can do the same to the battery and ram. Let's wait for a real world usage review before we get ahead of ourselves.
