Good review, EXELLENT PHONE. First paragraph should be binned, I thought you were talking about apple, yknow cashcow..as in big ugly obscellescent i6+, or Italians being robbed of 300m in taxes etc. The bit about Samsung wanting to get on the Vr bandwagon, then the next line, declares their users already have invested 2m hours in viewing time using their products, No, they are already the mobile Vr envelope pushers, unless you are waiting around with that phrase for apple when , Tim, brings up the rear.
Other than that mostly a pretty accurate review, tho by the way,(@conclusion.) this phone needs no, S pen, to place itright at the top of the food chain, good job Samsung.

Samsung what have you done. Another let down. Sticking with my Note 4. As one guy said and I agree. The new tech I think has been exhausted and has he said come to a hault. All they can do is improve speed and performance. I don't care for the edge look. The Note 5 never got a UK release. I'm very disappointed.

With 64+256GB,ip,type c and much better camera the note 7 is a big upgrade for many people and it will smash the note 5 sales figures.

Forget the hype and false predictions re the GN7, appreciate the actual result. It is the benchmark for others to catch.

i can add that samsung still will magnify every little upgrade they make with advertising (like the 2mm thiner pen and the performance) and that's good too, that's what business is all about

So if the S7 Edge and Note 7 are almost hardware twins, who is the Note 7 for? Power users. Samsung targets people who want the phone with the most goods, and the Note's gliding stylus and extra writing, drawing and navigation tools give it all the things.

There is almost no difference betwe... moreWhy do you guys keep panning the note 7 if you haven't seen a real world usage review? You don't know if samsung has done to the battery what they did to the camera. Use less numbers but better performance. That iris scanner may prove to be more useful than you may think. The problem samsung has is giving the s series too much which is why the note is getting lashes for being so similar. You don't know if the display is better or the processor. Apple has been giving 1 gig or ram and very minor upgrades for years and it still sold well. You all just see numbers and talk nonsense. My opinion is if you want the note 7 then buy it. If not,don't. I know it'll still sell millions. Check the official intro on you tube.

Hi guys I just want to share my opinion, I don't understand why you talk about specs and all that I have a note5 and its enough powerful to run every app every game compatible with a phone it has an amazing camera some new features that is the most important, apple its a great company you have notice that apple doesn't compete by adding more ram more cores to processors and they still have great performance phones more ram more cores doesn't tell how good a phone will be, but what you can do with it. I like new features. my note 5 do great with 3000 mAh and the 3500 is the bigger battery on a note until now. s7 edge camera is one of the best in the market and now the Note 7 have this camera its waterproof, it has a Type-C, the design its similar because what do you want a circle phone? look Iphone haven't change to much xperia phones look the same lumia phones look the same, even cars take u to 4 or 5 years before changing the models design. If you think the s7 and Note 7 are the same and you don't want to pay more just keep your s7 and get N7 in a few months when the price will cut off.

either way, if u just bought the S7 today, why would u need to upgrade it to the note 7 (makes little sense) just enjoy the S7 since it's an amazing phone same as the note 7 for the fans of the Pen
i do agree with u with the flat version (i assume more ppl would buy) but i bet Samsung has a strategy about it

Now I'm a Galaxy S kind of guy and have been since I bought the S1 as soon as it was possible to do so in the UK. The Note Series has always interested me though from a distance, the N7 is a beautifully designed device from first glance and going by my S6Edge.
The specs are a class up(mostly)on the N5 and should not be compared to the S7/Edge, S pen makes the difference between the S & the N but all the usual great elements are there which are expected in a Samsung flagship phone. Great smartphone.

To be honest I also didn't get the purpose of this model. There is almost no difference between this and S7 Edge (except S Pen and some minor ones) i also agree with this.
I had a note1,2,3,4 and just an hour back today i have bought S7 Edge better battery same specs than note 7,
After waiting for Note7 which is totally crap. an enlarged S7 Edge like an enlarge u know what haha.
Samsung has fully rogered Note 7. I am better off with now better priced younger brother S7 Edge. lets see what S8 brings in future
I expected a bigger battery, some new hardware leadership not some software gimmick. and there should have been a plain note7 without edge model. what u have done with the best line of flagship note series. its really painful
