AnonD-327936, 08 Sep 2016As long as there is a better battery than the G5 then that's good. My G5 has an awful battery ... moreI have a dual sim G5 and the battery, with data service opened non stop can get me from 8 to 17:00 with no problems. and it charges really quickly. Aaand you can swap batteries. Aaaand you can stop the always on display to reduce battery stress. also, i have outlook, Facebook and whatsapp messengers on all the time... i think you should check what apps drain your battery!
Keng Soon, 08 Sep 2016The introduction of QHD screen is the main cause of greater battery drain.Maybe back with the G3
My ideal phone
4500 or more batteries
3GB or 4GB
This means that any company could build this phone ?
I'm sorry for batteries. Failure to launch a flagship . I was disappointed from LG
As long as there is a better battery than the G5 then that's good. My G5 has an awful battery life and very unacceptable for a flagship!
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2016why sony can not make a good device like v20?thay can actually but dont know why they are not making it.
portal, 08 Sep 2016To all LG fans in this room including myself, LG cam need couple tweakz. From the review by An... morethey will surely tweak it but dont know how many updates that will take but dont worry lg v20 has the best camera although in focusing speed and low light auto mode samsung has a better chance but in manual there is no way anyone can win against v20 for now.not an lg fan saying this but a sony fan.
AnonD-505846, 07 Sep 2016Here's a thought. The front camera actually uses a higher resolution sensor, maybe 8MP. A norm... moreI hope the audio lives up to its name.
Last year they promised a lot and didn't deliver.
Quad core dac sounds nice but how good is the dac?
Samsung has some marvelous sounding audio on their exynos devices with Wolfman audio.
Qualcomm chips suck in comparison
AnonD-514108, 08 Sep 2016You are correct software is like 90% of a good cameraMore like 50%

They need more light either through apertures or bigger pixels or both. Worth less exposure and more dynamic range and less blown highlights and light fixtures.
Less aggressive processing whether that's sharpening or noise reduction.
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2016Well, maybe not all would judge a book by its cover.U R absolutely right....but the 1st Impression always Last Impression..............that's why looks and design matters more.....
I hope Gsmarena can review the drop test for LG V20, iPhone 7, Samsung Note 7 and Xperia XZ.
GSMArena battery endurance is the standard, n00bs. Nobody cares about your anectodal evidence of how your LG device last longer than a samsung because we all know you did absolutely no scientific testing, you don't have a specified standard, or you simply are comparing a 2yo phone with degraded battery with another, new phone.
Fact of the matter is, LG has always been a pile of $h!t when it comes to battery life. They've been steadily going downhill since the G2 and compare to their competitors (with similar screen size, same generation SoC, RAM, etc) they're nowhere near the top. Their highest rated endurance rating comes at the hand of the LG G Flex, a phone that was released 3 years ago (!!!), which so happen to have SD800 and a 3500mah battery, so why's LG's wizardry optimization skills resulted in lower battery endurance rating with newer, more efficient SoCs over the years? Just for shts and giggles, let's examine LG phones released in the last 3 years:
LG G Flex - 2013 - 97H
LG G2 - 2013 - 81H
LG G3 - 2014 - 63H
LG V10 - 2015 - 56H
LG G4 - 2015 - 54H
LG G5 - 2016 - 60H
Let's face it, LG can't optimize their phone, they have horrible battery life and it doesn't help the fact that they're consistent in using small batteries in their phone. I wont be holding my breath when the battery test for the V20 comes out, but i know one thing for sure, it wont be pretty and I cant wait to see the excuses the LG fanboys will come up with.
Darm LG Darm, in one pic looking at the cloud, it's blown out and over expose like previous device. Is it you guys can't correct this WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

My colleague uses one, difference is he no longer put a case on to prevent overheat, not use the phone while charging and also avoid any possible contact with water for the phone (who knows those who batteries ruptured could have been excited to test the waterproof feature)...
So nope, the Note 7 will still be around, only maybe pickup may be slower as the new iPhone is also here to say hello...
