No dark theme is a big disappointment. They gave it in Developer Previews earlier and I was so happy but... Oh google.

"While the seamless update process can't be implemented on current phones and tablets for technical reasons" --i have never been more relieved by a sentence..thanks google, we already have the random boots from our windows 10 PCs to worry about.
i really hope they take care of dpi scaling. the moto g4 plus looks like it was built for a retard.
and finally the comment on samsung and lg over how they customize android..they make it better(well except touchwiz..everything except touchwiz)..mutiwindow, snooze, tap to wake, AOD, different wallapers for lock screen and homescreen, custom quick toggles..i dont see the point of upgrading my s7 or g4 to N..other than the vulcan API

We only see the new OS from Android when we bought new devices. Waiting for manufacturer updates only happened when you are holding recent flagship.

When i was on 5.1 on my Z5, i could survive a whole day with it. Compared to Marshmallow...I have to charge 2-*3x to get through a whole, full day.
            *(3x when I'm being a really heavy user :D )

''Doze on the go promises to further improve idle battery life''

I hope that improvement is significant over doze in MM , after I updated my Z5 to MM battery life is not what it was because of the new DOZE which is crap compared to SONY's own true STAMINA mode I used on Lollipop.

"Be together. Not the same" works very well. It allows device manufacturers to differentiate themselves from the competition to appear as if they are completely independent tho the difference is only skin deep. This is what elsewhere is called Android fragmentation. And what evil tongues label as different versions of Android. Not long ago a wellknown techsite predicted that Windows eventually will replace Android on devices that today run Android to eliminate the fragmentation so that all devices run the exact same software irrespective of brand. I don't think so.

I really like the 7 Developer Preview on my Nexus 6. Split screen also is nice to have when the display size is 6". Wish all apps were updated to work with the split screen -feature flawlessly, Opera-browser has some problems.

Hmm looks good. System level call blocking, faster installation time of apps, notification method and all are pretty cool. Though I will never get the update on my Note 4, probably later on the next phone I buy.

Android has lost it's way, another grouping of minor tweaks called an update. The end is near.

great review GSMA!! always refreshing to read :D
as for the changes, i'm more interested in multi-tasking (who isn't right?) and a few others
as i don't own a nexus, i'll just pray and hope that there'll be an odin upgrade for A5 2016 (that i own atm) still will hold my breath and see some comments before upgrading :D

Marsh was not a complete upgrade, Noug should not be the same coz Android might go to letter O without having full optimization on 7.0
