Given all the camera and specifically video overheating issues with the recent Xperia Z and X range I can't believe you do a review and not test how long the camera can actually record video without shutting down.
Colin Christian, 13 Sep 2016Which company is better ?? A) Apple B) Sony C) samsung D) HTC Id go for Sony..though theyre all good though but pick samsung last

I currently have a sony x performance, note 7 and LG G5, prefer the Sony actually, will buy this when I return my note 7

ICE, 13 Sep 2016Where does Sony state that they cover water damage? As far as I can see they won't cover it.i dont know that but they do cover water damage.i myself had that experience and they fixed it without asking me anything and they warned me to be sure that the flaps are covered well before you go diving.

Just a few millimeters make a prominent difference for l... moreUsing Galaxy S7 (5.1" display) and iphone 6/7 (4.7" display) aren't the best examples even if you want to talk about width. With your logic, I could say that the X compact (4.6" display) is 65mm so it has less bezel than an iPhone 6/7. Phones with the same sized displays should be compared. Again using the same examples as in the image I put together ( http://i.imgur.com/Ihy3IhW.png ), the Samsung C5 is also 72mm wide, same as the XZ, the LG Nexus 5X is 72.6mm, and the Huawei Honor 8 is 71mm.
My point is that the bezel on the Sony XZ, both vertical and horizontal is very similar to almost all other 5.2" display phones on the market and yet literally every post about the XZ is full of people saying how huge it is. If the display and device sizes listed by all manufacturers are indeed as listed though, we're talking about literal 1mm differences or less, and I highly doubt that anyone would actually notice if they went and felt the devices IN REAL LIFE instead of just compared what I believe are inaccurate photos (due to different focal lengths, etc).

Its obvious as....Women are so much less bothered by this nonsense :-))

It's the width story, not the height. Just a few millimeters make a prominent difference for lots of people, because it's the palm width and hand ergonomics that are the limiting factors in one-handed typical usage, typing first of all.
Galaxy S5 - 72.5mm
Galaxy S6 - 70.5
Galaxy S7 - 69.6
Iphone 6 - 67.1mm
Iphone 6s - 67.1
Iphone 7 - 67.1
Xperia Z3 - 72mm
Xperia Z5 - 72
Xperia XZ - 72
Samsung has put much effort into narrowing its phones, Apple has been sticking to 67.1mm for years already - there's a good reason for that.
Absolutely want this phone but I doubt it will release in Indonesia due to TKDN rules ( T_T),, anyone have a good news???
Sony has no idea what it is doing when approved such mediocre phone for production. They just hang on the dream of being up class and lose each time overnight. Chinese, Koreans now beat day and night Japanese technology producers. And Who cares? Nobody. The dream is sweet when the sleep is deep.
ICE, 13 Sep 2016Nope, there is a very clear difference in statements between Sony and Samsung...."Sony warns y... morebelieve it or not this might be the official statements, but samsung warranty doesn't cover any water damage. On the other hand Sony covers water damaged phones if water got in from anywhere except from the flap(s).
They fixed my water damaged z5 no questions asked.. I wonder what samsung would say on that.
Still using the same sensor? I was considering the z5 over a year ago but when I saw their image quality was no better than the s4 which was less that half the cost......
And now camera's in the samsung n iphones are better than ever, I think Sony has lost touch some time ago with their consumer expectations thinking the Sony legacy is somehow going to be enough.
The only reason I haven't forgotten about Sony as an option all together is because of their compact series, they are the only company that see's value in a smaller performance phone.
