meh, 20 Sep 2016most discussions with sony fanboys are always end up like that.
you'll be accused as a troll,... moreYeah your right there.
Given up caring about the troll thing, through constant mis-application the term has lost what little meaning it had in the first place.
As for being a Samsung fan, weirdly enough I do get accused of that quite often, funny thing is though I currently own zero Samsung products, and at last count had 6 Sony products around the house (PS3 & 4, my main tv, two pairs of headphones and an M4 Aqua).......if I am a Samsung fanboy, then I am lousy one for sure :)

Mastercode, 20 Sep 2016What about sound call quality? All the previous Compacts had a big problem with that!?!?
Perfect call sound on my z1c...
You should check with your signal provider, not Sony.

Goodness forfend upsetting one of you Sony fanboys! That was quite the rant. Got to admit I got bored around three lines in and stopped reading, sorry.

I think there is error for the- If you connect a DualShock controller, the Xperia XZ can even double as a portable console streaming your Playstation 4 games via PS4 Remote Play.

It was only a coincidence that Qualcomm made such amazing 600 series processors this year (650, 652, 625, 617, etc.). Not only that the 600 series from Qualcomm this year is amazing, but Sony is considered one of the best when it comes to software optimization, and it is very apparent on how the Xperia X and X Compact competes even with the flagships of this year. Sony knows QHD is pointless on screens below 6" inches so they adopted to 1080p for better performance, battery life, and overall experience without heating issues. That's also one of the biggest reasons why the XA Ultra with MediaTek Helio P10 matches the speed of big flagship android phones like the Note 7. The story doesn't end there. The Xperia UI is considered the most stable OS in Android platform with only 0.08% crashes, even beating stock android with 0.09%. Xperia UI is super light and well-optimized that even iPhones can run it smoothly if only was dedicated for them. And based on the OS stability ranking, Samsung wasn't even on the top 10, which means it's nowhere as stable as Sony's. And I myself can prove this as I have used a low-end Sony Xperia phone which runs smoothly as hell

Maybe Qualcomm should just ditch the whole 8xx series and start marketing the 650 as its premium SOC eh???
Those are devices with qhd screens, there's always going to be a performance penalty for higher resolutions.
I'm waiting for an update to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini. I believe that will be the ultimate Sony Compact device. Tiny device with a 821 SOC, 3 inch full HD display, etc.
Lex79, 19 Sep 2016In what way?Actually in performance the Xperia X beats
The LG G5

Yeah it actually beats them in app launching/speed.
Ameer, 19 Sep 2016i dont understant why sony all of a sudden started making such ugly phones...All of sudden? Well, as far as I'm concerned, they've been on it for years with the old Z-series. :) But it's true that looks aren't important to some and some of us just can't deal with the boxy design, while others seem to love it (or the brand...) over anything else.

It's never been so easy to point and shoot with smartphone like with Xperia X Compact
Have been playing with XC for a while now.
Over-Delivering in the photo performance.
Captured Motorcycle race, Dog freesbee - both events where object moves fast (not to say - flying speeds).
Xperia X Compact delivers crisp sharp stills, and not a smallest amount of heat, while camera was operational (for more than two hours nonstop!).
So here's bottom line conclusion - it's a bloody brilliant smartphone.
Android Modder, 19 Sep 2016haha right on dude.looks like people here are mostly paid by samsung or apple to comment this ... moreI find that the SnapDragon 650 is actually the easiest processor to optimize. I mean like just some proper optimizations and the SnapDragon 650 will run like it's an 800 series SnapDragon SoC. Only if paired with the Adreno 530 GPU or something as powerful as that, this will be a beast. Only downside of this CPU is that it doesn't support 4K recording, which is weird because SnapDragon 625 supports 4K
Tourettes Guy, 19 Sep 2016Don't ever underestimate the amazing power of the SnapDragon 650. i dont understant why sony all of a sudden started making such ugly phones...
Z3C_alive, 19 Sep 2016Its not bad for 300$...Sorry but Sony downgrade, low-mid spec, again mid camera, no IP 68 etc. Don't ever underestimate the amazing power of the SnapDragon 650. That beast even beats most SnapDragon 820 devices in 2016
