Motorola eliminates the 3.5mm headphone jack and no complaints, nothing said. Apple eliminates the jack and it becomes headline news. Wireless charging, fast charging, wireless fast charging, etc. all cause excessive heat which is deadly to electronic components especially batteries. The Note 7 fiasco should be a lesson to us all, yet hard headed people are so fanatically bent on achieving their vanity and bragging rights that they refuse to admit that some aspects of technology just aren't ready yet for prime time. True "wireless" charging is not sticking a phone on top of a "wired" charger. Your phone is still restricted to that charger and it's location so it's actually less useful than having the phone plugged into a wire. On top of it all, it exposes the electronic components including the already fragile battery to needless excessive heat, and lets not forget all of the wasted energy from all that heat. What good is your feature packed phone (of which most of those features are merely heat creating bragging rights gimmicks anyway) if there's a constant risk of it firebombing in your pocket, car, home or on an air flight?

Here is a link to a website that also states the same. (http://gizmodo.com/bluetooth-has-finally-outsold-wired-headphones-1784543501)
Like I have said before, I am not naive to think that wireless is better than wired but I have no issues whatsoever with the Bluetooth adaptor I use.

My Apt-X stereo Bluetooth headphones have been collecting dust for over a year. Nothing beats the sound quality of wired headphones. I would be absolutely frustrated my if favourite mobile lost the headphone jack.

Apple took out the jack as Bluetooth headphones are outselling wired & have done for a while. It seems that people adopted Bluetooth headphones before removing the jack was thought about!
AnonD-597574, 14 Oct 2016Hello, guys! I'd like to know if is a good ideea to upgrade from my iPhone 6 plus to 7th gener... moreI went from the 6+ to the 7+ & I do not have any issues with mine. Only go with an Android handset if you are happy with the OS. I almost went to the Note 7 (before the recalls) as I really do like the handset but I do not like TouchWiz & I am not a massive fan of Android.

still cant compete with s7 edge camera, htc 10 and p9 camere and even g5 have better camera.
Hello, guys! I'd like to know if is a good ideea to upgrade from my iPhone 6 plus to 7th generation of iPhone?Does enyone had any issues with it, how does it's moving during the day, how does the perfomance is, etc.Or shoud i just "jump" into the Apple's neighbours Android, S7's Samsung?Tnx!
Same old design from iphone 6,battery life is ok, best performance!, insteresting telephoto bokeh mode (comparable to huawei p9), too bad there is no jack
Hmmmm. A sad alternative to the S7 or Note. No wireless charging is a deal breaker.
SJM32, 14 Oct 2016How many of you have slammed the lack of a jack on the iPhone when it the was the Lenovo/Motor... moreI have and i'm sure pretty much anyone who is slamming Apple over this wouldn't buy an android equivalent of iPhone. However, sadly many android users have i-fans mentality and don't mind things like that, and wouldn't bash any company over these things. That's why we are stuck with ridiculous fashionphones and every ridiculous policy Apple "invents" gets easilly adopted by the android camp (Manufacturers and buyers).
How many of you have slammed the lack of a jack on the iPhone when it the was the Lenovo/Motorola that actually done it first & have then stated that the Lenovo/Motorola was one of the best handsets around?
You people who live & breath Android have such a strong hatred for Apple it is quite embarrassing. Slamming Apple on iPhone stories, slamming Apple on non iPhone related stories. You people just look for any reason to jump on a story & trash Apple!
I know that there are a lot of Apple fans that do the same to Android as well & it annoys the hell out of me!
I want to come here & enjoy relative talk about a relative device, iOS or Android or Windows or BlackBerry or Tizen or anything, I do not want to wade my through people saying that one sucks & they wish it went away & your device is miles better because the software is better & it has a 3.5mm jack!!
Grow up & accept that people have phones for them & not for you!
AnonD-597423, 14 Oct 2016Anyone else have the hissing crackly noise on the back of their iPhone 7+ near the apple logo?... moreI have the 7+ 256GB & I have not heard it, no matter what I try I can not get this sound to happen, in or out of a case.

Bluetooth? Never used the jack on my 6+ as I had a Bluetooth adapter & Blueto... moreStill, not a deal breaker for me. I listen to music when I get bored travelling. I watch YouTube videos & to me, there is not a lot of difference. I am not naive enough to think that Bluetooth is better than wired but I would not call it mediocre at all.
& just because I choose the iPhone over an Android handset does not mean that I do go for the mediocre things in life, it means that I go for things that are suited to me, not you, ME!
If your happy with your HTC then I am glad for you, had the M8, things that I did like, things that I hated. I just prefer iOS.

Yes there are differences & limitations to having a Smart TV app on an iOS device, but it still works.
Also, let me know when you are coming around to my moms house & I will get her to bake you a cake.
Just now looked at this very closely and played around. Somehow I feel aesthetically and from feel perspective, iPhone 6 Plus seems to be little better. Overall construction feels like bit lightweight plastic (and some sense cheap). The camera hump is real shame and completely takes away the aesthetic value of the mobile. Camera as such performs ordinary within the well illuminated Retail store in day time with lights coming from all sides through glass. I was bit underwhelmed with the camera in terms of taking sharp images with details. Stereo speakers seems to be an useful one with good amount of sound. The home button, finger print scanner with hatpic feedback seems to be a complete overhaul of home button may take sometime to get used to. Otherwise, this mobile seems to be a very ordinary update/upgrade over 6 Plus. Water resistant etc....not going to cut ice since I have been abusing iPhone 6 Plus in water and it never dies. All in all, I feel this is a quite a huge money for 128 - 256 models and IMO better wait for the next edition.
Ohh, not at all, just read the review... its almost 2017....and it records in ....wait for it....
MONO .... thank god its 4k but MONO? please :D
