Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016Try those China phones that cost half the price.. then try iPhone. The difference is night an... moreI'm honestly an iPhone user of 7 years, since the original iPhone 2G. At the 5s I was so sick of bad camera's, clumsy UI, software update slowdowns and a price point that didn't match I had to try something else. The difference is night and day, but not in the way you think. I have been using Xiaomi for the past 2 years. EVERYTHING is better. Not just the Camera, storage speeds, Japan Display and build/engineering(no lumps, massive bezels), but also the way you interact with the UI. I will never go back to Apple again, not unless Steve Jobs resurrects and starts cracking a wip.

LOL, i can get more talk time from my $200 phone, and at 4G. When i listed to internet radio, i lose 1-2% battery ped 1/2 hour. And it has the same battery - just 3000mah.

        i-jewels are so overrated.

The difference is night and day.

There is a reason this phone is able to retain its price, despite so many angry critics and degrading. Because its simply the best. People who critic it without EVEN using it are sooo dumb.

As for those that talk about display, note that this phone is able to crank up to very bright display, so you can even watch in direct sunlight! NO amold display including the note7 is able to match the brightness.. note7 even limit their brightness to conserve power. This iPhone never remove user experience from 100% to 0%.. those samsung always on feature and whatnot, when they save power you can feel it lag.

Note7 just got removed. Its perfect timing for you haters guys to try iPhone for once. Just once, you will know the foolishness your commenting in the past.

Let's see...it seems that a bunch of people posting here have purchased non-Apple phones. Congratulations! You all win a gold star. Now run along and enjoy your devices. This is an article about a phone you don't have, and therefore one you shouldn't have the time to care about. You all have friends, right? Jobs? Some other reason to live? Can't someone interested in this particular phone simply (a) get some first-hand info on it, and (b) read through some comments posted by others who have actually used the phone? Do we have to have this juvenile argument? Are any of you adults? Did any of you actually get a job and earn money to pay for your own phone? Jesus. Don't vote, any of you.

It's a good smartphone but overpriced and Apple knows they need to step up the game in the iPhone 2017. They have to give us 2K screen, true NFC etc

The game is changing with all these Chinese brands giving top of the line specs for 300-400. Apple needs to offer something that these brands can't offer for these low prices. Apple has 14% of worldwide market share now and this is going down as well as their profits.

The days where you had to spend 800-900 on a good phone are over.

Some of the new iPhones tend to have a noise that's a bit higher than usual, mine doesn't, but I saw a few cases. Don't worry though. You can keep exchanging it until you're happy. Apple warranty is top drawer.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2016Maybe you had a defective one? Or the SD820 version? Or you used it more because, unlike the i... moreI had the Exynos (SM-G935F). I use my phone a lot, I unplug at 7AM. By 4PM and after 4 to 5 hours of screen on time, my S7 edge would be down to 3-5%. I don't know, my 7 Plus just gives me better autonomy. Maybe I had some app that was draining my battery on the edge? No idea really. The thing is, not everyone can be bothered to optimize and look for drainage, constantly tweaking things and so on. The best part of an iPhone is the simplicity and hassle free performance. Yeah I don't have a launcher, I can't transfer files OTG, I don't have a notification LED, but everything just works and is fluid and smooth as hell. That's what I need from a phone.

Anyone else have the hissing crackly noise on the back of their iPhone 7+ near the apple logo? Turn on a video on youtube and turn off the sound and listen. Both me and my wife's iPhones do it. We had to get my wife's replaced because hers was really loud. The new one isn't as loud but definitely still there.
