Anonymous, 13 Oct 2016Thanks, but I'll keep my S7 Edge with Exynoss chipset and I'll have:
+ 30% better battery lif... moreHahaha. Talk about defending your brand!!!!! WOW!!! I applaud you for your effort but the people that care about the iPhone 5 having iOS 10 are the people that have perfectly working iPhone 5's & do not need to change to any other handset at the moment, there are a few out there.
Not everyone needs to have the latest phone on the market & lets face it, if you was to change to Samsung you would have a new phone every 4 months! But there are people that buy handsets & will only replace them when they need to so it is good that the latest OS is still supported on 3-4 year old handsets.
sa11oum, 13 Oct 2016They just don't understand that the market has stagnated and that new features are slower and ... moreYour right, it has stagnated & I can not see anything else that a phone can do that would not be absurd, such as the mock ups of the iPhone 6 that had the built in projector & projected keyboard.
It will take a good few years for the next truly innovated thing to come from a mobile phone.
Thanks, but I'll keep my S7 Edge with Exynoss chipset and I'll have:
+ 30% better battery life than the 7+
+ better overall display with insanely deep blacks and higher resolution
+ insane design, little-to-no camera bumb and A SMALLER CASE with fits nicely in my hand while having the same 5.5" diagonal
+ better IP68 certification and, guess what? STILL WITH A HEADPHONE JACK. IN.A.SMALLER.CASE. My Sennheisers are so happy, I can even use them while I charge my phone. Did I mention my wireless future? My wireless charging dock helps me with.
+ microSD card slot which doesn't have to be insanely fast, my 130GB flac collection plays just fine with a 30MB/s card with a 40 bucks 200GB card, how much is the 256GB iPhone?
+ and the 32GB 7+ it's still more expensive than the 32GB S7E? Damn, man. Damn.
+ did I mention my "jet black" (or onix black) S7E doesn't get scratched just by touching it? Or fu**ing air? I did now.
The rest it's just an iOS vs. Android comparasion. I don't mind a 0,1 second slower phone or how faster it receives updates as I never really need those and I never keep my phone longer than 2 years anyway, so who cares the iPhone 5 got iOS 10, who runs a business (thus needs a secure device) and still has one of those? Instead I do mind a phone that doesn't have a file manager, OTG functionality and so many more.
SJM32, 13 Oct 2016To all the people out there that are saying that the iPhone has not offered anything new this ... moreThey just don't understand that the market has stagnated and that new features are slower and slower. They just want iris scanners, probably. Or some other useless mumbo jumbo.
To all the people out there that are saying that the iPhone has not offered anything new this year I will pose this question to you....
....Even though nearly every phone for the last two years have been redefined models of their previous handsets, what do YOU want to see on a new 2017 handsets?
This excludes hardware changes such as SD card slot, removable battery, IR Blaster & 3.5mm jack. I want actual changes.
Why are you calling it the king when it cord everyone else and didn't even do that well. Talk about a horrible battery life, not so great camera And not so bright in direct sunlight. Need I go on?
Anonymous, 13 Oct 2016Lol. Sorry we love in reality and many people do and have used both and know that's a load of ... moreI had Androids for years and years. iOS is just more polished. Apps run better and smoother. Lag is virtually non existent. It's not a load of garbage at all. Most people I know who switched to iOS once Apple started making phones larger than 4.0" are satisfied and not even thinking of going back. Only teenagers and people with entirely too much time on their hands prefer Android, that's the truth

I wouldn't mind if it was, but this is fine... I mostly use my phone for recreational shots, not professional photography. And this is more than good enough.

Some of the photos show a bit of grain and the color just seems a bit off. The iPhone 7 phones are just a place holder for the iPhone 8 which will celebrate 10 years of Apple
Truely the best phablet there is. Pixel is the only rival iPhone 7 plus has. Tough it's obviously clear that A10 will beat the crap out of SD821 easily. I wish Google build their own SoC like the rumor we are hearing. That would be great. Apple vs Google fight.
Can't wait for Pixel review.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2016Also Samsung displays are pure garbage. over saturated cartoon like colors and Pentile matrix?... moreAgain you prove that fanboys read something and then interpret it to suit their opinion.
The review clearly states that along with the iPhone 7+ the NOKIA LUMIA 950 and SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 5 have the same accurate color representation.
So yes, other manufacturers have achieved that BEFORE Apple
Good review. In my opinion, the iPhone Plus is the best phone on the market this year too, just like the 6s Plus and 6 Plus were in 2015 and 2014. Nothing compares to the 7 Plus' usability, stability and performance. Incredibly satisfied.
By the way, those not buying the Jet Black are making a mistake. Yeah it has those tiny scratches, but I can't even see them unless I put the phone in direct sunlight and actually look for them. They are completely invisible 99% of the time. And yes, I've carried it naked for 3 weeks now. It looks splendid and has a much, much better grip than the regular aluminum finish. I couldn't use my 6s Plus without a case because I always felt like I would drop it but not with the Jet Black. I love this finish.

AnonD-76091, 12 Oct 2016Where can one find the 5v/2A charger for 7 plus? The most annoying of all the things I suffer ... moreHello.
I've previously tried to plug the iPhone 6s Plus into a 2A Samsung charger and it didn't charge faster. Now with the 7 Plus I used IKEA's KOPPLA 3-port USB charger (google it by product number - 102.918.81). And it worked for the iPhone! I was charging with this thing an HTC One M9 and the iPhone 7 Plus and both got their batteries at 100% in about 2 hours.
Hope this helps.
Exactly as GSMArena says ''Apple's iPhone 7 Plus is a best-seller that doesn't even need an advertisement''.
This goes in fact for all the products branded with the Apple logo, and this kind of bothers me a lot, because their products are only decent hardware embedded in a nice package. At least Samsung throws along with the hefty price a good hardware also, even if this means nothing, because they're terrible at optimizing their devices.
These two so called best smartphone manufacturers are so powerful only because they do only one thing far better than everyone else, which is marketing. I'm sad really...
Finally a decent scecs wise phone by Apple. Seriously if there were any sub 1080p resolution display, and 32gb base storage this would be a laughing stock again. Still not gonna buy it, not because I don't have the money, but because it's not a good value for money. I can buy a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 that would basically be a fraction of the Iphone price and serve no lesser purpose. Currently I own a Huawei p9 + flagship, while certainly a bit overpriced and not the best I am happy with it. But I can't justify paying like 300$ extra for what arguably better software and useless prestige. The only thing is the support which Apple does better and could justify buying the phone when the prices go down.
Super performance by both CPU & GPU.
Huawei & MediaTek should learn from this & put better CPU & GPU architecture in their SOC's.
Just wondering howcome 6Cores GPU performance is better than 12Cores Mali 880 & Adreno 530(not sure howmuch core does it have) GPU's?
