Like I've said the S7 software only exaggerated with the sharpness in the low light photo and it's especially visible in the vegetation. The photo is clearly not oversharpened because details were mostly preserved and the dynamic range is very good. So reducing the sharpness slider in almost any editing app is enough or uploading the image on facebook or instagram, the compression will automatically reduce the sharpness.
In my experience the G5 is not better in low light is more a miss than the S7 in themes of white balance as well as exposure.
The ultra wide angle lens has it's uses but at the end of the day it has an inferior image sensor.
Also take a look at the videos and tell me which is the most sharpened?

I think xperia xz is better,second is lg than ip7 and s7,download the image and can see xz colour much natural and accurate,lg is good also but for ip7 and s7 far behind alittle if compile the test from youtube too,can see that video from xz is great with it stabilisation and i love the colour accurate on xz
just my opinion xperia xz the best camera in phone for now
other phone is also have good camera,thumbs up for all brand

I think this test gave a good perspective of the phones, I do however feel sony gets butchered by pixelpeeping. Looking at the full uncropped photos as a whole I feel the sony nails the daylight photos best. Still weak in low-light though. G5 seems to be the best overall so kudos to LG

Gsmarena seriously need a pic from a professional camera for comparison, and it would also allow us to better see how close smartphone cameras are to it.
Also, were the pictures all taken through manual or auto?

The S7 is hideously oversharpened in all of the photos that it takes. And its been shown time and again here in gsmarena that the G5 handily beats it in the low-light department as well. Plus the G5 has an ultra wide angle lens that has many uses in landscape/cityscape shots to fit a lot more objects in the frame. Your beloved S7 cannot do that.

did you look at the texture of the details (and tell me that the g5 is not the best ?!!!!)
you need an eye exam
yes the whites are a little warm but it has the best definition by far, the only problem is the metering (its not as accurate as the iPhone 7) but you can always adjust that manually.
go visit an opthalmoloigist, and stop acting like a pro, you need him more than the other voters
