Some Chinese manufacturers are smoking from the Poppy pipes.
The price in the U.S. is going to be $600+
Plenty of other comparable phones for under the $500 price-point.

UnbreakableAli, 04 Nov 2016All this camera hype and still , it doesn't match that of the iPhone 7 , so sad :-(I agree. Even the iPhone 7 camera can't compete with a 7 month old S7 edge. Huawei is a joke.

Isn't it wiser to buy 2x iPhone 7 Plus or 2x Galaxy S7 edge or 2x Mate 9 instead of the overprice Porsche Design. I mean seriously people. :/

Huawei Porsche,
ZTE Ferrari,
Gionee Lamborghini,
Verykool McLaren.

These all make a lot of sense. Hahaha

Cheap, Chinese manufacturers, using the all-too-common and mediocre Android, and adding premium quality brand names on their devices.

I'm truely impressed. FINALLY A true king from Huawei. (with preformance that's equal to an iPhone 6S/samsung Galaxy S7/LG V20) BUT FOR Huawei it's finally a GAME ON!

AnonD-510275, 04 Nov 2016you should tell them (gsmarena) for this, because it will effect every smartphones review :DWell, the damage has been done already and most reviewers rush and don't realize that they are not doing the tests properly. Just look at the Pixel reviews everywhere, GSM said Pixel has 1.5K score in worthless Geekbench while some had it around 1.6 and 1.7k. Highest is 1.8K

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2016It's wrong on so many levels. Quad hd is 4 times number of pixels of hd ie 720*2 and 1280*2. F... more1440 x 2560 pixels is what we call QHD. QHD is the correct form, not 2K(some people are writing qHD, which is not QHD).
"QHD (Quad HD), WQHD (Wide Quad HD),[2] or 1440p,[3] is a display resolution of 2560x1440 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The name QHD reflects the fact that it has four times as many pixels as HD (720p). It is also commonly called WQHD, to emphasize it being a wide resolution, although that is technically unnecessary, since the HD resolutions are all wide. One advantage of using "WQHD" is avoiding confusion with qHD with a small q (960x540)."- Wiki.
So what I want to say, is that the correct form is to say QHD, not 2K.

Why these Complaints about size ? Get yourself a 4" if you don't want a "big" phone.
BTW - Same size as an apple 7+ which has a far smaller screen.

Ok, I have Mate 8 so I can be the judge here.
-----------------MATE 9------------------
PLUS:
Still big and strong battery, one of the best
Still Full HD resolution, QHD is unnecessary
Still full metal, but I prefer solution without plastic flaps on top and bottom, I like plastic stips better, like on Mate S or Porsche Design Mate 9
Stronger GPU, even though I never had any issues with Mate 8
Big upgrade on cameras, Dual Leica plus selfie cam with autofocus. Cameras on Mate 8 are solid but nothing special.
64 GB basic storage plus Dual Sim (or Sd card). Great combo

MINUS:
5.9 inch. Why go down when Mate 8 was 6 inch?

----------Porsche Design Mate 9-----------
PLUS:
6 GB RAM
Great battery wasn't sacrificed, 4000 mah
No plastic flaps, full metal body, gorgeous
5.5 inch if you don't need more than that.
MINUS:
QHD screen. It's a gimmick because human eye can't see the difference at this small screen and it drains battery.
Front placed fingerprint sensor. Why?
High price, too high

Thank you

No smartphone this big has ever gotten two days of uninterrupted usage people. Don't tell me you're not going to eat, sleep nor poop during those two days? Lol! (Sarcasm)

Anonymous, 03 Nov 20162K is not Full HD, check your facts. But it is. 2k - around 2000 horizontal pixels. 4k - around 4096. The current resolution 3840*2160 shouldn't be called 4k because it's missing some pixels horizontally and there is real 4k resolution. 4096*2160. Most people for some reason started calling this 3840*2160 resolution 4k instead of how it was meant (UHD). That person is right about his facts. You're not.
