RyGuu, 11 Nov 2016$599? Good Lord. I was looking forward to this at around $450. Honestly even 450 is way to much. Under 350 then maybe.
No battery endurance on this review
What's usain bolt got to do with this odd phone? He's way too good to be used as this phone's poster guy. It should be a fast phone, not one that overheats and throttles.
Lolx. Someone in HTC please have a look in this comments section xD. dayumm!!
What is the purpose of this phone's existence?
handset best and better htc bolt
AnonD-122523, 12 Nov 2016600 $ for last year specs . HTC is going for bankrupcy with speed .This seems to be their goal now.
600 $ for last year specs . HTC is going for bankrupcy with speed .
I would prefer this over the M9 and will only buy it once the price is par with the M9 itself.
What a srange device !
Although the revised SD810 is not a bad idea for the QHD display, it will cope well but just be a bit warm.
As for the rest of the specs,
The 3GB ram is a concern for future proofing, as is the lack of HTCs USP, the front facing boom sound speakers.
I can't understand removing the headphone jack, as it's not a slim device.
It states that the phone is water proof but also advises not get it wet!
The battery seems a bit small considering the screen size.
The camera seems average compare doing to competition.
All in all, this looks like a good high end midranger, with a flagship price tag !
Such a shame HTC, lower the price and I may consider it.
Better be Full HD.
Uh, SD810 for real? HTC has finally lost it completely.
Hey HTC? Why did you remove 3.5 jack ? Because Apple did so? Apple will make money through licensing lightning connection to third party manufacturer. You, HTC, will make nothing but lose loyal customers who don't want to use dongles...
Instead of removal 3.5 you should have said and done following: " We didn't remove 3.5 connector, and we are not even going to remove it in foreseeable future, because we do care about our customers and value your loyalty. But for those of you who are ready to move to wireless technology, we put in the box wireless headphones. Enjoy great sound with HTC!" This what you should have done instead of removal 3.5 jack.
HTC have you ever heard of 653 or x25?
I think it will be a success.
First of all...
Why did HTC decide to use the old Snapdragon 810 for this? Sure, there's a v2 version that fixes some of its issues...but it stills OVERHEATS.
Secondly, The 5.5 QHD with Super LCD3 seems bad imo. Again you can see old specs are being used here. Not particular a bad thing, but this thing will sip battery FAST.
Lastly...no headphone jack. Why HTC. Just because Apple did it you guys shouldn't EITHER. On top of that its a steep $600. Maybe im judging this phone too harshly, but I'm not fond of what I'm seeing.
The big space between screen and buttons is bad enough on the HTC 10, then they went and made the phone worse by using one of the worst chipsets of all time and making it squarer and heavier?
I wouldn't buy this one for $150 even, I want SD625 or something.
This is exactly what we needed! One more generic android phone filling the market!
