I one of those guys who has their phone/wallet/smokes on the table when out drinking/eating and used to double tap phone to look at time or notification I may have not paid attention too, now picking up my phone to do that has become another one of my fist-world-problems haha
Dearest. What else can I add to this complete review!!Nevertheless,if it is not pricey,it is going to have good shares of markets because of its some distinguished qualities mentioned in the review!!Any news about the price makes the waiting decision makers decide faster!!!Omid12Omitted,....
JackTheIPhoneKiller, 21 Nov 2016Just imagine this exact same phone with exactly the same specs running Pure Android! get over it man.
some of us like customizations. Besides pure android vs heavily skinned OS was a big deal on lower powered devices in the days of 1GB Ram phones.
These days most flagship phones can handle the heaviset OS without breaking a sweat.
besides you can always put a custom ROM
I'm still not convinced with the result of faux bokeh and the usefulness of dual camera.
JackTheIPhoneKiller, 21 Nov 2016Just imagine this exact same phone with exactly the same specs running Pure Android! It would have worse battery life, since all pure Android phones are known for not the best standby optimization.

AnonD-147165, 21 Nov 2016How about dual SIM functionality?
Is it dual active or dual stand-by?Unfortunately it is NOT dual "full active".
I used 1 sim by the way. So all my battery statistics before were based 1 sim card in my Mate 9
Good luck

AnonD-209065, 17 Nov 2016I laugh at how the review says it's GPU performance was disappointing. It's only an 8 core ver... moreHuawei was always very conservative about the number of graphic cores. Samsung used same GPU for S7 as Huawei in Kirin 955, but Samsung had 3 times more cores.. ..
Anyone got lousy gpu performance?
I play only one game Dream League football.
Mate 9 is no where near Note 7, s7 edge, and iphone 7 plus.
So disappointing.

Went from an LG G3 to a Huawei P9 and it is the function I m... morei can confirm that it is not available on the Mate 9. and that was one of the things i did not like.
you have 2 ways: power button & finger print.
for me, i hate the idea of fingerprints in smartphones, so i rely on the power button only.
or if possible, your phone can awake when a notification arrives. you need to check that out as i am not sure if it is available.
good luck
OK guys, I am posting more updates on the Mate 9 battery
my use is on wifi and a couple of minutes on 3G. I used chatting aps, browsing and video playback. no gaming. Brightness is auto.
from 94% to 20%, I got 7 hours of screen on time.
I honestly did NOT like the Stand-by time. I disconnected my wifi and after 7-8 hours of stand by, the battery lost 2-3%. I used to criticize Samsung for its weak stand by time for the S series and the Note, but it seems the Mate 9 too has a weak stand-by time.
if I continue using my phone the way I do now, I will get minimum 8:30 of screen on time and maybe more. And this is very great.
there you go guys, I am sure a lot have been speculating about the battery since GSMArena said it has 82 hrs endurance rating. Good luck all
Any word on knock/tap-to-wake?
Went from an LG G3 to a Huawei P9 and it is the function I miss most, the apps you can get just don't do the job. Was hoping they'd bring it back with the latest iteration of EMUI
Mohamed Abd-Elfatah, 15 Nov 2016if u know any explanation plz inform me urgently i posted a comment a minute ago about the battery, kindly go ahead and read it to get the benefit.
for those looking for its battery,
i used my Mate 9 from 94% to 59% and it gave me 3 hrs and 13 minutes of screen on time
i am on wifi only. my use is browsing and video playing. i did not play games yet.
i will add more updates soon.
good luck
Dearest knowledgeables.Plus, gsmArena complete impartial review, the Mate9 is Mate8 with more modifications. It is going to have much more successes because of exclusive specifications and for sure Huawei put a logical price for it because of its sibling midrange phablet speedy contests with another Chinese brand Xiaomi and watching Samsung with opened eyes looking!!!It is evident vividly that Chinese top producers going to have places iniIndian greatest market and intact Russia market in just a year from now!!!Nevertheless,I am eager to have it and recommend it to 600 million+ quality seekers in 5 languages under my different names and accounts!!Unfortunately, price hasn't been announced yet!!!?Thanks mentioned names...,Omid12Omidvar,Omid46...just follow justice Rights whether factwriting published, released or not!!!
Good..
