for those of you who say that xiaomi should stick with a 720p panel because on screen time would be double that of a 1080p clearly you don't know anything about technology. 1080p panels only consume around 20% more than 720p ones and the redmi 4 prime battery is excellent. who needs more than a 2 day battery ? if you are a battery maniac you can buy a 10.000mah power bank and attach a 480p screen on it or something.

You forgot to mention that in the MIUI8 you cannot turn Google's bloatware off. So even if you're using other apps, Gmail, Chrome, Play Music, Google Photos, Games, Google+ and a few others are still in the background eating the battery.

Compared to Redmi 3s prime it's useless...
why don't Xiaomi put the same 720p display( as Redmi 3s prime ) on Redmi 4 prime. So that We can get double video playback time....
Very disappointing that Xiaomi choose 1080p display instead of 720p to ruin the battery life....

Don't like Xiaomi phones as much as before because Mi Suite is terrible on PC and isn't available for OSX. I want the good old fashion drag and drop.

Rashed Jaman , 26 Nov 2016Which is good for buy? Note 3 Pro or Redmi 4 Prime? Both are great for this price range, but obviously note 3 pro is more powerful so it performs all tasks better but I decided to go with Redmi 4 Prime because of it's size (5" display,FHD) and in my opinion nicer build. Better phone without a doubt is note 3, but if you want to one-hand-use phone 4 Prime is the way to go. R4P gets +62k antutu score so it's still VERY good.

Isn't that contradicting. Redmi 4 prime launched less then a month ago how can you have it for 2 months. What a stupid liar.

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2016RN3 with Snapdragon 650 is amazing. Nothing comes close at this price. Indeed, especially considering RN3 Special Version that has LTE bands for Europe, America and Asia (outside China and India), instead of just the China bands that phones intended for mainland China are limited to.
