hi, I am sure u can use two cards simultaneity in the same network, but most of china dual sim card phones only support GSM900/1800MHZ, so if u locates at USA, maybe u cant use it. U can find many dual sim card phones at http://www.goldlink.cc/dual-sim-card-phone-c1907.html

I am also using a DUAL SIM CARD Phone, very amazing, O3 818 with bluetooth function, it use to card slots, and two cards can be stand by at the same time. The price also very cheap. I recommend you to browse all at www.goldlink.cc.

@above my prev. post: Its ovb. that you are not going to get a top-notch phone in that price.... But in 180$, its more then enough... TouchScreen, Basic VGA Cam, 3GP/MP4/MP3 Player n MMC Slot.. n DUAL-SIM...

          Regards...

hi there, i am currently importing these dual sim phones. They are great to say the least, 30 per cent of people now carry 2 phones, Un till about a month ago i was using 2 8800. Now i have 1 phone with two numbers active at the same time. 02 and orange. No need to turn the handset off.It great. see www.talktellmobiles.com

Don't expect big name companies like Nokia or SE to be coming up with dual-sim phones anytime soon. It's all about the money :) They'd rather sell you TWO phones instead of just one phone capable of handling and operating two sim cards. They won't care about convenience and such. :)

If only these china-made dual-sim phones improve their build quality and add more features (and hopefully, no longer questionable build quality, hehe), they could literally give these big guys a run for their money. :)

the dual simcard also quite well known in indonesia several years ago, but in my opinion it's useless coz only one simcard active...n it's only working for gsm network that time.
recently samsung indonesia release samsung W-579 here in indonesia...it's a dual mode gsm/cdma phone, 262k tft lcd, mp3player, touchscreen, flip model...but it's quite expensive here, almost Rp. 5.000.000 (almost US$550)
There are several more brand also made from china/korea/taiwan....coz here in indonesia people use more than one number now n usually one gsm n one cdma coz the gsm number they had for a quite long time that their relation known that number n use the cdma number for it's cheap price...:)

Dual SIM is old news here in the Philippines. It started way back the age of nokia 5110's and 3210's. I still have my dual SIM device working in perfect condition. Its a plus to have this in your old mobile phone. Imagine having a primary state-of-the-art phone and a secondary phone that has dual sim on it. A total of 3 lines in your pocket... COOL right?

Just to give you a trivia about this dual Sim mobile. For those who dont know yet, This dual sim thing is originally made, previously popular and done in Philippines and it was only adopted by other mobile company. Just to inform you guys, by year 1999 upto 2001 Im using a dual sim with my old NK 5110 and 3210. This dual sim is coming from the genius mind of those technician in a place they called Greenhills or Recto back in Manila, Philippines. This people are like Efren "Bata" Reyes of the Billiard world. They can do some Magic things with your mobile that the other cant imagine. The problem with us is that no company or our government is supporting this little but very genius mind of our technician. They always view it as they other way around (BAD IDEAS). We will only realize and become proud of it if the other country made it popular. And say "This is our idea". Why most of the Mobile communication company hire this technician from us? Simple! Because they are genius. "And they can do MAGIC".

I have use that trend 500 dual sim phone already, be honest so far so good if u dont over expect other features I am chinese but I still have doubt with this chinese made and design product. The outfit is not that good looking the O/S still can be improve, the touch screan is suck, the only think that can be appreciate is the dual sim feature save me a lot of trouble of bring 2 phones out. I am actual expecting the big mobile brand to deliever dual sim handset on market but I really have doubt of that as well.

Hmm.... 1st of all, I would like to inform GSMARENA team that there's already a DualSim Phone released in our country about 6 months ago (Named Trend T500 - http://www.trendmobiles.co.uk/t500.html) and it even has Bluetooth, touchscreen and a vga cam, and the cost was around 180$..

"& this was introduced in the Philippines by those Chinese Fakerz who makes everything pirated ;P hahaha

LOL @ questionable construction quality xD

China ain't that high-tech yet on materials so play safe buy only the original branded phones x)

I rather spent a few more bucks & have a durable quality phone that spending cheap but poop quality. >__"

My old nokia 3310 crashes instantly because of those ingenuine dual sim modules, and almostly killed my 3650 from it's erroneus quality. but it's alot different now since those imitations were gone here in my location (somewhere in philippines:)

The idea of dual sim phones is great! I have been longing to have such facility introduce by mobile phone makers. On the other hand an an alternative to this issue is a SIMcard with dual numbers just like the BATELCO is doing for ttheir prepaid subscribers in Bahrain. Innovative telecom providers just like in the Phillippines should have introduced this one by now not only in their post paid subscribers but also to their huge prepaid based subcribers that made them rich! Otherwise the idea of having a single phone that can handle active sim cards simultatenously is most welcome and I would definitely a buy it!

Whare can someone buy the iCool G700 in the U.S.?

I'm looking all over and I can't seem to find a vendor and I would consider buying it online but I can't find any internet shop that sells it.

                                      Does anyone know?

                                      I would appreciate the help.

I use two SIM cards of a different carrier on my unlocked S.E. S700,so the idea of having a phone who actually handle the two SIM cards at the same time without having to shut off the phone in order to change the SIM card and then turn it on again ,is the deal for me,even if im not able to use the two cards at the same time,im interested,i dont mind to switch from one card to another...
