Any Mediatek powered smartphone should be given for free because it's a horrendous chipset. Hats off to any manufacturer staying away from these processors from Mediatek.

Amazing battery life and a decent implementation of modularity (& way better thought-of than G5's). Too bad they removed the 3.5mm jack though, hopefully they'll revert next time!

So sad, Motorola was great years ago now it's just a name.

A very poor battery life result, especially for a Motorola.
This Moto M manages 55 hours with a 3050mAh and "just" a 5.5 inch 1080p screen.
The Moto ZForce gets 88 hours with a 3500mAh and a 5.5 inch 1440p screen.
The Moto ZPlay can do 100 hours with 3510mAh and a 5.5 inch 1080p screen.
I guess it is safe to point fingers at the MediaTek Helip P10 chipset.

Motorola is the best bargain in the cell phone industry. Walk in buy a phone for 199.00 and it lasts longer and same specs as all the top of the line aluminum phones. Can anyone make an argument for value?

With all these reviews in mind, Moto Z Play really shines (despite that GSMArena once tore it down comparing it to OP3).
SD625 is energy-efficient but a good performer and Z Play's battery life will be twice as good.
